Wi-Fi rocked! People were nice, other campers were nice….the site itself, for our style anyway, lacked. It was too dusty, dry and just not conducive to animals that camp with you. The ad about the site was deceptive as it appears there is grass- don’t be fooled, it’s fake turf at host sites and not where you can take your dog to do doodies. Upon arrival we paid for friends to join us but told them not to come due to dry, dusty conditions and the office was closed - next day we told them and they said we need 48hr to cxl- later refunded half. Was just weird considering we didn’t inform them of friends until day of arrival?! It was just not our gig. People who love dirt and dust may love it. We just didn’t.

Thanks for the feedback Kelly. Sorry our park didn't meet your expectations. We pride ourselves in being very transparent with what we offer. Not only with our rules, but our site information. Nowhere do we advertise grass at our sites. Since most of the country is experiencing an extreme drought, grass just doesn't make sense and is frankly irresponsible. We are located in a desert, so yes there is alot of dirt and it is dry. Our policies are pretty straight forward and yes we will ask those with continually barking dog(s) to be mindful of our other guests. Our office hours are from 9-7. We are onsite and we have hosts, messaging services available to contact us anytime, 7 days a week, if there is a problem.

Ben and Lacey… just wonderful hostesses! The park is clean, the laundry room is clean, bathrooms/showers are clean… just overall a very nice place to stay. Ben and Lacey are very sweet and welcoming, yet they leave you be and are not In your business. Definitely recommend if you’re going to be in Escalante, Capital Reef or Bryce Canyon.

Ben & Lucy’s space is perfect! It’s location is better (closer to trailheads) than the campgrounds in Escalante National Monument and is a short walk from a few places to eat and grab a drink or some groceries. The bathrooms/showers were spacious & squeaky clean, which every traveler can appreciate. As the cherry on top, everyone at the site was friendly and respectful of quiet hours. I’ll absolutely be staying here again!

If you're looking for the "hostess with the mostess" Ben & Lacy will be right up your alley. They were an excellent resource with extensive knowledge about the area and all there is to do & see. Our days were jam packed with exciting adventures and our evenings at camp relaxing & quiet. The wi-fi worked great (bonus!), the site was small but adequate and the on-site food truck made dinner just a few short steps away from done. The campground is centrally located to all the Escalante hot spots. 5 stars! (Note: if you want you a site with a campfire ring ask in advance before you book your reservation - they do have them.)

Hi Jessica, Thank you for such a kind and thoughtful review! We were so glad to have had the opportunity to be a base camp for your adventures in the Grand Staircase National Monument. Thank you for sharing some of your stories and adventures with us as well! See you on the trail.
