If you’re looking for a relaxing and peaceful getaway then this is the perfect place. It seemed like we were the only ones there as the properties are far from each other. The dock is great for fishing! Our boys loved to jump off the diving board to cool off. This house is great as it’s fully equipped that you can pack just the necessities. We got to see donkeys, long horn and deer. It was a fun little getaway. Definitely a repeat trip.

Little off Lake House was a sweet spot to get away for a couple of days with our sons. We were tucked away and had just about one of the best views a person could want and need to rest their minds for a bit. The fishing was fun, they're plentiful, and Kellie providing the option adding on the barge topped it off. We played ping pong, watched movies and enjoyed the deck. The house was clean, mowed around and the AC works great. I would definitely recommend this place to unwind Thank y'all to Kellie and family for sharing with us :).

What an awesome spot. We had a great time relaxing and unplugging at this cabin. My kids enjoyed fishing and swimming since the lake was high. Made good use of the diving board! We will definitely be back. Kellie was a great host. Made sure we had all we needed and even brought a pole set up for catfish for our kids to try out. They landed a 15lb catfish on his rod. We loved our time here! The property is beautiful and exactly as what is advertised. My 11yr old had a blast fishing, jumping on the trampoline and seeing the longhorns and donkeys. Weekend Trip to JH Ranch-Haggard Lake

This was my 5th or 6th trip out to the cabin and I plan on returning many times. John is a great host, the lake is really nice with great fishing and swimming, cabin is very stout with good options for cooking and there is also great BBQ nearby in Stephenville. Now, it is rustic and a little wild. If you are scared of spiders or the occasional watersnake, maybe it's not for you but you're missing out! Made lots of great memories out here, highly recommend.

I hate that I have to share good news because I'd love to have this place to myself lol but this place was honestly the BEST one I could've picked! Staying again! Can't wait to plan our trip back

Weekend Trip to Hidden Lake RV Ranch

We stayed in one of the cabins, which was perfect for couples and very nice. Everyone was friendly and it was peacefully quiet. There was lots of wonderful wildlife to see and a beautiful lake for fishing. We will definitely be back!

Weekend Trip to Stanford Ranch Lakeside RV Resort

We stayed in a rented R.V. R.V. was super clean, air conditioner, and stocked with everything we could have ever needed! Fridge kept all our food ice cold! Scott, the owner, was super friendly and attentive. Saw him every day maintaining the property. He even lent my kids fishing poles because we bought cheap ones and they broke first trip out. Beautiful view, had lots of rain at night but the days were beautiful! We will absolutely be returning very soon!

Weekend Trip to Lake Godstone™ Lodging and Camping

First and foremost, everything was beautiful. The land was well kept, peaceful, calm. Carol & Dom were absolutely pleasant to be around. They made sure we had everything we needed from the start of our trip to the end. I will definitely be back but with more people this time lol! I also noticed there were others camping with us on other areas but they were respectful and kind. We also did canoeing and paddle boating activities. At night, it was peaceful.

2 nights at JH Ranch-Haggard Lake

Our family recently had the pleasure of staying at John's cabin, and it was the perfect get away for us. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with the peaceful sound of nature and a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. The cabin itself was clean, well-equipped, and well furnished, providing all the comforts of home while still maintaining that rustic charm. We hiked around the property, fished in the lake, and sat around the fire pit at night. John has beautiful land that feels far away from hustle and bustle of our day to day lives. We would highly recommend this stay for anyone looking to get away.

Possum Kingdom Campground

Very well maintained. Close to trails. I was the only one there due to the cold weather. Plenty of roaming deer and ducks to befriend.

Possum Kingdom Campground

The lake is beautiful and clean no doubt about that, but I was completely disappointed with my campsite at the Lakeview campgrounds. I understand it was July 4th weekend and I knew it would be crowded, but I didn't expect to have a loud, large family of about 30 right next to my site. The fire pit was on the wrong side and was about 12 feet from our neighbors. Really awkward because they were facing us. I booked this particular site because the pictures showed it had a stand up grill to cook on. It did not only the fire pit grill. The rangers were nice but they were no help since they couldn't move the fire pit for us. Our neighbors were loud until midnight and kept shining their truck lights in our tents. We packed up the next morning.
