It is only 8 minute drive from Norway, MI, and a 15 minute drive from Niagara, WI and a 20 minute drive from Iron Mountain, MI. Snowmobile and ATV trails are around the corner. Fishing, Hiking, skiing, and golfing are just a short drive away. Public boat launch on the Menominee river 5 miles away. Enjoy a secluded week or weekend of relaxation full of activities.
Newer 3-bedroom, 2 bath home located on a private lane close to Niagara, WI and Norway, MI. Fully furnished and decorated. Open concept kitchen and living room. Living room has a wood fireplace (wood provided on deck). Cathedral ceilings with tongue and grove knotty pine, central air, and large deck with a cover and outdoor sitting. Enjoy outdoor cooking with a propane grill and wind down at night around the campfire in the yard (wood provided) or on the deck with a propane fire pit.

Enjoy the local towns of Norway, Mi, Niagara, WI, Pembine, WI and Iron Mountain, MI. Golf courses, waterfalls, fishing lakes, beaches, parks, and kayaking are 5 to 20 minutes away. For winter fun, skiing at Norway Moutain is only an 8 minute drive, while Pine Mountain is a 20 min drive. You can snowshoe, CC ski and hike onsite or on public land nearby. ATV & Snowmobiling trail access is 3 mins away.

Norm's Log Cabin started out as a back 40 acre camp from the 1970's.
Hunting is not Allowed on Property.
Over the years we have taken time to make some improvements. We have acquire additional adjoining property and run some electricity. We have pieced together 160 contiguous acres over the years, and continue to manage the property as a family gathering location as well as doing some occasional log harvesting. This is the place to get away from it all, but still be in striking distance to several attractions. A full service restaurant in La Branch which is a short 12 minute drive SE, and a local hang out called the Red Arrow which is a 5 minute drive NW. The Cabin sits at the end of a long 1/4 mile driveway in the middle of the 160 acre plot of trees. You need to cross Anderson Creek, and drive past another hunting camp near the front entrance. This front 40 acre camp (Anderson Creek Camp) is another more rustic option then Norm's Log Cabin. The road leading to this driveway off of Highway 69 is near the village of Hardwood. Along Highway 69 is a snowmobile/ORV trail managed by the Michigan Department of Natural Resources and can be easily reached via the gravel road to/from camp. That specific trail is designated as A, and runs the length of Highway 69 and intersects ORV trail AG which would bring you into Escanaba. There is many and frequent ORV activity on this trail, and there are many stopping points for refreshments along the way.
Hardwood Impoundment Pond is the closest body of water to Norm's Log Cabin, and can be reached by car or ATV. This impoundment pond is really the back waters of a local dam in the area, and can be fished from the bank or off the bridge that goes across the area. Very easily reachable.
Again this is just a place to get away from it all and take in the outdoors.

The beautiful Cabin is on Island Lake in Three Lakes, Wisconsin. There is a lot of free equipment for guests, such as a pier, water toys, a Kayak, outside tables, a fire pit, and a gas grill. The cabin needs a shared bathroom and toilet bathroom, and the toilet is in the main house. The main house between the cabins is around 100 ft. Guest welcome used the main house Wi -fi. Northwood has beautiful countryside; I am sure you will enjoy and relax.

Looking for a remote cabin for a romantic getaway or a relaxing time in the big Northwoods? Ellen’s cabin is off-grid (12volt DC, solar), has limited running water and unreliable cellphone service. It’s 1/2 a mile from a dirt road which is a portion of the North Country Trail, sitting in the rugged Michigamme Highlands, close to Silver Lake and Dead River Basins.
The cabin is fully equipped and is 45 minutes from Ishpeming and an hour from Marquette. There is a wood stove and back-up propane for heat, a gas stove and small grill for cooking and a small fridge.
There is a double bed, two single beds and a pull-out futon and all bedding is provided. There is also an open area upstairs for yoga or for children to play.
There is a fire ring with wood provided, a deck with great views of the Mulligan escarpment and an outhouse.
There are lots of opportunities to see birds and other wildlife and for this reason we do not allow dogs, hunting or motorized sports.

Beautiful secluded area. We saw and heard deer and bear driving in and during our stay. Cabin was roomy with a divider wall and two sleeping areas. Full kitchen well supplied. Large bathroom with shower. Nice firepit area. Very quiet and peaceful setting. Highly recommend.

We had a beautiful weekend at little Brocky cabin. We tried to get in as much as possible for the weekend. We sauna’d, we swam and jumped off the dock, kayaked, hiked at Van Riper State park, and relaxed. I do wish I had brought a battery fan for our last night- it was humid and no air in the cabin while sleeping, but overall we had the best time and would definitely return.

Loved the drive out there and the view really is something special out here. Definitely bring long sleeves and bug dope though. Very cool setup and my only suggestion might be bringing your own solar shower if you require a rinse besides what the local river can provide.

Patrick takes care of all the little things that leave a huge impact. From chopped firewood to extra garbage bags, drinking water, extra blankets & towels, this place has everything.
The lake was amazing for swimming and the sauna to lake dive may have been my favorite part. We planned on going out hiking but ended up spending most of our time just relaxing in the lake and around the campfire.
We will definitely be coming back in the future

We had such a peaceful stay at this cabin in the UP! The setting was incredibly quiet and relaxing—perfect for unwinding. We were pleasantly surprised by how strong and reliable the WiFi was, which made it easy to stay connected when needed. Having a hot shower after a day of exploring was such a nice bonus. Highly recommend for anyone looking to disconnect in nature without giving up comfort!

Weekend Trip to Lost Lithuanians Camp
My wife and I were looking for a weekend getaway and Michael’s cabin delivered a quintessential cabin-in-the-woods experience! It was way bigger than we had expected, with plenty of room for a family/large group, or ample space for a couple looking to relax. When we wanted to unplug, the extensive trails that Michael has created made for an enjoyable walk in the woods. My wife and I both commented how peaceful it was not hearing any cars or airplanes overhead - truly magical! When we wanted our creature comforts, there was a TV with multiple streaming services, an oven and microwave for making meals, and WiFi that was powerful enough to stream a live soccer event in Europe (seriously!).
We spent our drive home talking about the next time we’d be back! Can’t recommend this place enough!

We loved the cabin definitely a hike in the winter to get to. We pulled a sled behind us with our supplies definitely made it easier. Plenty of firewood and cooking pans and utensils so just bring your food & drinking water and you'll be golden. Peace and quiet and crisp fresh air very relaxing place to be highly recommend. Outhouse was adequate cabin has led lights from solar too worked great 👍

The cabin was beautiful, as was the location and the view from the many windows. Victoria supplied plenty of drinking water and firewood for the stove. The cabin kitchen was stocked with all the utensils and cookware I needed to make good use of the propane range and oven. Directions to the cabin were crystal clear. We would happily stay again.
