Even if you stay just one night to break up travel (as I did), I highly recommend the Art Farm. The spaciousness of the camp was a delight. I arrived at the property around 9 pm, and Laura graciously showed me a secluded site towards the back of the tract. The nearest camper was far away, and though it was mid-November when I stayed, I could still envision seclusion in a busier season. The land was well-maintained, and Laura offers a variety of camping spots. Paducah was also well worth seeing- a lovely town right along the Ohio River with several cool spots! I’ll be back!

This was a perfect primitive camp for us! The area had plenty of privacy with a beautiful scenery. Early mornings, next to the woods gave a good spot to drink some coffee and watch the wildlife. Easily accessible, and not far from town if you needed to make a quick trip. Communication with Laura was friendly, quick and easy. Definitely saving this spot for our next trip in the area:)

We absolutely loved our time at Cassie’s special pavilion! It was perfect for us as we have family in the area. BUT, even if we were just passing through…it was an awesome spot with everything we needed! It was peaceful, and semi private. We loved sitting outside in the morning drinking our coffee and enjoying the quiet time. It’s close to many handy things as well. CVS, a grocery store, dollar store, Macdonald’s were all very close. I found a laundromat in town that was very clean and reasonably priced also. Cassie and Brian were great hosts and very responsive. Will definitely stay again when we are in the area.

Loved staying here! I spent a total of four days in the woods and it was the perfect spot to stay in the evening. I especially loved that the tent area was shaded while the camping pit was just a few feet away under the open sky. I didn’t have a hammock with me, but wished that I did because there were so many great spots to hang it. Having the shower was a blessing as well. It was great to be able to start the morning with a hot rinse.

I had plans for an overnight stay here and was REALLY looking forward to it. On the day we were to drive from AL to the site, our running lights went out. Couldn't drive at night without the lights. Had to cancel our stay and stop at dusk elsewhere. We determined the 7-prong plug on the camper was bad. Bought a new one and installed it the next morning. The owners of the vineyard were very understanding. I can't say enough about how easy they were to work with from the initial reservation to our cancellation. They responded to questions, answering their phone quickly or responding quickly by email. I hope to go there next year! This will be a great place for you to pick!

Formerly known as AAA RV Park, we have transformed this space into a welcoming retreat for RV enthusiasts since our new ownership began in June 2021. Originally opened in 2009 with just 10 full hookup pull-thru sites, we have expanded to offer 38 spacious full hookup sites, ensuring a comfortable stay for all our guests. Our park is equipped with essential amenities, including water, sewer, 30/50 amp electric, and complimentary WiFi. Guests can also enjoy our on-site laundry facilities, clean restrooms with showers, a designated dog walking area, and a playground for family fun. We are dedicated to enhancing your experience with the addition of a certified RV repair technician, providing on-site assistance and mobile repair services to the surrounding community. As a family-owned and operated business, we understand the needs of fellow campers. Having traveled the USA in an RV for 14 years, we bring a personal touch to outdoor hospitality. Nestled adjacent to the scenic Tunnel Hill State Trail, this campground offers a unique blend of outdoor adventure and comfort, making it an ideal destination for tent and RV campers alike. The history of the area dates back to 1904 when the Main brothers established their box factory, originally named Oaktown, which later became known as Karnak in 1913. The village's name, meaning "land of milk and honey," reflects its rich resources. Gus Bartleson and his sons from Grand Chain, IL, owned vast timberlands in the Karnak region, selling thousands of acres of farmland and White Tupelo timber. This timber was essential in producing wood containers and boxes, which played a significant role in the village's development. The Main brothers initially manufactured fruit jar containers and later expanded into producing White Tupelo egg cases. As competition grew, particularly with the Chicago Mill and Lumber Company, the Main brothers adapted their business to include wire-bound boxes and crates. At its peak, the Main Brothers Box and Lumber Company employed over 250 individuals and even constructed a two-story hotel to accommodate transient workers and visitors

Columbus-Belmont Campground
If you enjoy the river boats, this is the place to be. great view, full hookups on a few sites. It is off the beaten path, so bring food, drinks, etc. Lots to do within the park and see.
