* Wildlife - In late summer, cattle graze nearby. In spring, you may see sheep and baby lambs on the way to the south beach access.
There are rattle snakes, bunnies, and we’ve seen a scorpion or two.
*Weather - Summer days can be quite hot with cooler nights. There is no shade on the property. Wind gusts carrying dust can occur. It’s a good idea to check weather app for conditions.
*Landscape/Views - Utah natural landscape changes markedly with the seasons. Some photos may reflect green grasses, when these dry out mid summer, they can produce fine stickers to be aware of with long hair pets, kids, and ankles in general.
Views can change depending on developing neighboring properties.
Sunsets either at the lake or the property are unobstructed and often dramatic. Night sky viewing is also pretty awesome as there is very little light pollution.

Our park is located right next to BLM land with miles and miles of trails, perfect for an adventure with you and your furry family. •No excessive consumption of alcoholic beverages. No alcohol allowed in building at any time. No alcohol on trails or in any motor vehicle.
•No leaving air conditioners on all day while you are out, no leaving air conditioner running all night.
•Do not move fire pits.
•Please secure your own valuables. The resort cannot be responsible for loss or theft.
•The resort is not responsible for any accidents or injuries resulting in or around resort.
•No washing cars, ATV’s or RV’s is allowed on property
•Quiet Times are from 10:00 P.M. – 7:00 A.M.
•Garbage – Guest are responsible to pick up all their garbage and dump it in out campground dumpster located on the east end of the campground. •Please ask front desk if you have any questions.
•Please do not park on grass or in vacant spots.
•No removal or cutting of any trees, plants, or natural materials.
•Use of firearms, archery, or any type of weapon is prohibited.
•No FIREWORKS are allowed in the park.
•Please do not walk through neighbor’s campsite.
•5 MPH Speed Limit.
•No major repairs, oil changing or radiator flushing may be done on property.
• Fires are only allowed in our approved fire pits. Tents and all flammable items must be kept at least six (6) feet away from the fire pit.
•No smoking in any building – complying with the Utah Clean Air Act.
•All guest shall remove all personal property, debris and litter prior to departing their site.
•If you do not occupy your reserved campsite by 10:00 A.M. on the following day of you scheduled arrival date, the site will be made available to public.
•Disclaimer: Management reserves the right to change the rules and regulations at any time. Bear Valley RV & Campground Resort will not be held responsible for loss, damages or claims for damages to property or guest due to fire, theft, accident, or any other cause. We have been to many sites and this one was our favorite. We were immediately greeted and even given a tour of the place right away, we felt welcomed and really enjoyed the positive friendliness vibes here. The land is absolutely a special place with an amazing 35mile bike ride trail that loops right to the park entrance, that had some of the best views Iv ever biked. We can’t wait to come back.

The campground for tenting will be much better when the trees that they have planted reach maturity, but that is the only complaint. The showers had great pressure and plenty of hot water, and the Wifi reached all the way to the tent area, so no complaints. The host was helpful and accommodating.

Weekend Trip to Sevier River RV Park/Themed Cabins
Rikki is the best host you could ask for. She was so welcoming and always available for anything you needed. The cabin was cozy and warm even in December when we went. There is two cabins nearby but set up in a way that you hardly notice them as they are facing the river. Lots of cute geese, ducks, and chicken running around. We will definitely be back!

Great place and had a fun time at the Garden cabin! Even for early december and winter conditions, the room was very warm and we had a comfortable time at night. The host was very helpful and responsive when we had questions about firewood and the property. Definitely recommend and would love to visit again in summer if I have a chance!

We had a great time staying here! The barn was super cute, warm, and cosy, and the bathrooms were great.
Our only complaint is that there were five large dogs running around off leash the entire time we were there. Of course they were friendly to me and my parents, but my own dog does not always do well with other dogs. I barely let him out because I didn't want him to meet five other large dogs, especially when the owner was not in sight. I am not sure if these dogs live on site or belonged to another guest, but we would have appreciated stricter rules about dogs being kept on leash (as my dog was).

Such a beautiful campsite! The tent was beautiful and warm on a chilly night. Loved meeting the horses, goats, and dogs. Carrie Ann was so responsive and welcoming. Wish I could’ve stayed longer and will definitely go back!

Vey clean and well maintained RV park with level, spacious sites. Convenient access to the national parks in the area. Site manager is on-call. Very nice & clean laundry room that is open 24 hours with a code. My wife’s only criticism is that the park is right off of Hwy 24 and being a light sleeper, occasional loud vehicles woke her up. We would stay here again.

This site is located an a lovely farm and as it has only one site, you have complete privacy. The host was a very friendly gentleman who welcomed me on arrival and checked again on me in the morning but otherwise left me to enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Although the water was turned off for the season, I did have electricity. I would definitely stay here again.

The wagon was adorable! We were worried it might be too cold, but there was a small space heater that kept us toasty with lows of ~25F. There was also an air conditioner that we didn’t use. The wagon has ceiling lights inside and a couple outlets. Due to the off season, the was not crowded at all and the bathrooms were really clean.

What a lovely place to stay! My sister and I brought our two very young kids and they LOVED all the animals and the open space to run around and play. Such beautiful views and easily accessible to hikes and so much more beauty! The kitchenette and bathrooms were well maintained and so appreciated. Tent camping at Sevier River's was so incredibly peaceful. It was a birding paradise and the lazy river right by our campsite lulled me right to sleep. It's close to the highway, but the road noise was minimal, especially at night. The managers were extremely friendly and helpful, and they brought us a delicious breakfast to our campsite in the morning (for a small additional charge). Highly recommend!

Directions and communication were excellent. It was easy to find. I had read some reviews about it being windy and I got lucky and had no wind.!
It was chilly… First ice on my windshield all season! There is another house right there which at first seems a little invasive, but actually it felt safer to me to know people were around as I was traveling solo.

If you ever fly over the area, you realize that Fish Lake has a double meaning. Not only do fish live in the lake, but the lake is shaped like a fish. Scenic drives get you close to several natural wonders in this national forest.
Discover Pando, which sits 1 mile southwest of the lake. It's a clonal aspen forest. Scientists say it's the oldest and largest life-form on Earth. In the fall time, the aspens all turn their bright shade of yellow. Herds of elk scatter among the trees.
This area includes the forest around the lake, but the lake is the main attraction. Mountains rise sharply above the southeastern shore. Their tops are 1,000 feet above the lake surface.
Imagine a picture-perfect Swiss alpine retreat right here in America. A plateau borders the northwestern shore, completing this watery enclave. Anglers aim to catch trout and salmon here.
In winter time, snowmobiles replace boats along the lakeshore trails. Four campgrounds have plenty of accommodations.

This is a little hidden Gem of a campsite off the main road and away from the road noise. Its is only about a mile walk to the lake and has standard bathrooms. The trees give ample shade to all the camp sites. I went during the middle of the pandemic summer in 2020 and didn't realize that it was listed on hipcamp until a year later even though I do use hipcamp to scope out campsites.
The area is dog friendly on leash because the sites are semi-close together but with the pandemic, there were a few open sites between each occupied one. I had great "neighbors" and my dog and I watched the deer walked through camp in the morning and evening. Definitely would stay again. The camp hosts were very helpful as well.

Campsites are well kept and enough trees offer plenty of privacy between campsites. You are a 3-5 min walk from the water. It’s beautiful.

This was one of the most magical campsites I have stayed at. I didn't even realize this is where Pando was until I was driving in, and I've wanted to see the aspen clone for years. The most pleasant surprise I've gotten!

We camped here at the end of August and it was extremely quiet. This campground had a ton of sites and is not normally where we would stay, but it was a family affair. It turned out great. The sites were pretty small, but very picturesque. Because people in our party had RV's, we camped close to the bottom of the hill. It was easy walking to the dock (we had a boat), camp store and water. If you are tent camping, there were some pretty sites at the top of the campground that looked much more secluded. Even though it was August, it was VERY cold at night. In fact, it hailed one day! Take warm clothes! Supposedly there is one weekend in July when they have a Mormon celebration and it's packed. Also-flush toilets & running water.

This is a nice spot to view fall aspen color. By later September the lodge and most all other campgrounds had shut down; this one only had a couple loops open and the showers were off. It too would shut down by first snow. No one even collected payment, and only three sites were occupied. There were more deer than campers, and the whole lake area was empty save a few hunters. Yet the aspens were gorgeous. Sneak in late as you can if you want your own lake and campground, and great fall colors.
