Not too long ago, our neighborhood roads were dirt, and there are still several horse ranches in the neighborhood. Our campground sits on half of our property—designed for comfort while staying close to nature. The national park is literally in the backyard, with 0–5 minute access to the Cactus Forest, Mica View, Freeman Homestead, and Desert Ecology trails just to name a few! Sunrise and sunset are especially stunning, with saguaros silhouetted against shifting sky colors and wildlife moving through the desert.
When you’re not out adventuring, stay and unwind. A deck with cozy chairs offers a perfect perch to watch the mountains light up at sunrise and glow at sunset. A fire pit makes for warm evening hangouts under a star-filled sky. On-property walking paths weave through native plants, some labeled for self-guided discovery. had the most AMAZING time! Jennifer & her husband were so attentive and hospitable & I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I booked this trip on a whim last minute and wasn’t sure to expect but they didn’t disappoint. Everything was nicely put together, clean and organized, and clear cut. We only spent one night here but I would definitely return!!! One of the best glamping experiences i’ve partaken in since downloading this app!

2 nights at Mesquite Haven
Me and my boyfriend had an amazing time visiting Mesquite Haven. We’re not even 2 hours away so we decided to give it a go and it wasn’t a disappointment. We stayed in the Tombstone Rose, it was cozy, spacious, clean & already had a heater inside, which they’ll show you how to use. They also will provide a Jackery for charging & to plug in the lights that are in there. Jennifer a Dave are very nice, chill & welcoming if you need anything all you gotta do is ask and they’ll come see what’s up. Right when you arrive Jennifer will be outside to show you everything, where to park, the restroom area, where to go look and explore literally everything. Then like I said earlier they are very nice people you can talk to them, it was nice getting to know them. Lastly they are pet friendly. Our dog did cause a little problem but we just contacted them right away and they came over to see what the situation was, they didn’t make us feel bad or anything because accidents do happen. Just be straight up with them and they will be with you too. So yeah I highly recommend coming here for a visit. Can’t wait to come again.

Great time spent on some scenic and peaceful property! Amber was very accommodating and made the experience definitely worthwhile. It was awesome seeing all of the farm animals as well as exploring the property as there was a lot to do. 5 nights at Gila River View
This was one of the best places we've ever stayed! The host, Amber, was incredible and made sure we had everything we needed. The area is secluded and private and we never heard any noise other than nature. We loved that it's a working cattle ranch with horses, cattle, and pigs. The animals were all friendly and never bothered us. Oh, there was a very friendly barn cat that did snuggle with us a bunch! The camper was an amazing accommodation that offered everything we needed for an indoor experience and sleeping.
The hiking opportunities are endless here! With just a 10 minute hike you can be on the top of a mountain overlooking 2 different valleys that the Gila river runs through. In about a 20-25ish minute hike you can make it from the camp clear into a hidden valley on the back side and make it right up to a secret spot next to the Gila river. We spent half a day at this spot relaxing and enjoying the weather and nature!
It's about a 10 minute drive to the nearest town for any supplies or if you want a restaurant. We only went once to get more drinking water and we were back at camp within the hour!
We will definitely stay here again! We love the place and it's less than 2 hours from our house!

I’ve stayed here twice, both times a great experience. Proximity to boththe city and to nature. Flush toilet, sink, and shower are huge bonuses. It’s such a unique and picturesque spot. I felt lucky to find it on HipCamp. Niko is very responsive as well.

We stayed in one of their two bunkhouses.. Super cozy, kind of car culture themed.. The other one was more Western.. Close by, they have The Barn.. A simple kitchen and bathroom, available for everyone on the property to use.. ALL utensils, supplies, and grille tools. Super thoughtful! We opted for a couple of the Add-Ons.. Jen took very good attention to our requests! Next time, we're TOTALLY staying in the Tombstone Rose. We were really impressed with the property.. Did some local spots, ajen suggested.. They really have thought about almost everything! Thanks for the experience! We'll be back!

At 29 years old I have never once been in a treehouse, I loved the treehouse! I love that I got to experience it. it had beautiful views, absolutely adored the birds chirping in the early morning and the sprinkler going off giving this amazing fresh smell of grass in the morning, it was such a refreshing wake up that I absolutely needed after having such a hectic week at work. Would absolutely recommend.
