Tranquil , rural and private
Our experience this weekend exceeded our expectations. We were greeted on arrival and directed to a large, flat, fenced area far from the host's house with the clear, rocky Owl Creek right behind it. The fencing was to keep the horses out of the camp. There was a huge fire ring with free wood and a large, unique grill you could cook a large amount of food on. There was a picnic table, trash can and a cabinet with various amenities, if needed. The outhouse was really well done and tucked away from the main area. It had solar lighting for at night, a unique door handle, and was painted a nice green color with the traditional carved crescent moon. The first morning the horses came nearby in the misty pasture, making for a beautiful sight. The sky was full of stars and the night was full of nature sounds like owls. Highly recommended.
