The spot was awesome! But I would suggest maybe an adult only camping situation due to the bars LOL, it would have been way more fun if it was just adults other than that the property was great definitely will come back

Great host but a little too close to the road, and a lot of loud booming traffic on a Friday night for us.
Also we were awaken at 6am andctwo times after by gunshot sounds on nearby lake.

Our host responded quickly even though we made a last minute reservation. Colleen was very accomodating and helpful. On our third stay she said that they would be coming in the afternoon to do some work on the property which is a single campsite sharing a driveway with a small house. We enjoyed meeting them.

Thanks for having everything set up when I arrived! I rode my bike from Chicago to Pell Lake, and Colleen was helpful to set me up with electricity, water, and gave me advice on where to find some good dinner before my next day's ride.

Like some other reviews have said, and/or maybe the description says, it is by a road, so you do hear traffic, even throughout the night, and the mosquitoes were bad at times, but it's not even ten minutes from lake Geneva, and it's priced right all things considered. Clean, flat, good spot for a tent. Nice fire pit available, and the host shared information to access electric even, but it was good weather, so I didn't need that.

Nice campsite on a quiet Wisconsin lake. Easy to find and level ground for setting up camp. Private secluded spot, but nearby a small community with any supplies you will need.

I found this Hipcamp to be as described. That it was located by a lake. I was able to get my e-bike out and ride to the little store down the road and along the lake. I slept soundly despite the site being near the road. Trees between the road and campsite provided by some privacy. All in all, it was exactly what I needed, a place to stop and rest overnight from my journey between Chicago and Minneapolis. Thanks for providing this stay, Colleen!

It was overall an okay experience. Its a small area, but there are trees to cover a two person tent. The mosquitoes were absolutely horrible, but thats location and no fault of the host (of course). Its worth the price. I'd recommend for budget camping in a pinch.
