Just a short distance from your campsite, you can explore the Cascade River Road, the scenic gateway into North Cascades National Park. This area provides access to trailheads for Cascade Pass, PCT routes, and Sahale Glacier Camp. Marblemount also offers easy, family-friendly river walks and boat-launch trails along the Skagit River. A short drive east along Hwy 20 takes you over Washington Pass and the Methow Valley, with convenient access to Mazama and Winthrop for additional hiking, dining, and outdoor recreation. For more adventurous hikers, nearby Lookout Mountain and the Thunder Knob Trail offer sweeping views over Diablo Lake and the surrounding peaks. Hidden Lake is another unforgettable destination. The wild and scenic Cascade River and Skagit River corridor also supports kayaking, canoeing, rafting, fishing, and, in winter, excellent bald eagle watching — especially near the Marblemount boat launches. Our property is in a beautiful wilderness setting with uneven terrain, changing weather, and the possibility of wildlife encounters. Please come prepared and enjoy the outdoors safely.
