The property combines small-town charm with easy access to some of the Gorge’s best hiking, wind sports, hot springs, waterfalls, and scenic adventures. Whether you’re here to kiteboard, hike Dog Mountain, soak in nearby hot springs, explore Hood River, or simply relax in the hammock beneath the trees, this space is designed for travelers seeking simplicity, nature, creativity, and calm. Located just 45 minutes from Portland (PDX), the retreat is walking distance to downtown Stevenson, the riverfront, local shops, grocery store, restaurants, and more. Choose your adventure 🏄🏼‍♀️🌲✨!Tiny Gorge sanctuary for surfers, hikers, creatives, and peaceful souls ~ Welcome to my Columbia River Gorge Micro-Cabin — a cozy glamping-style retreat tucked into a quiet neighborhood on a quarter-acre property in beautiful Stevenson, Washington, right in the heart of the Columbia River Gorge. This sweet little fully enclosed space (approximately 150 sq. ft.) is designed for simple, comfortable stays with a laid-back Gorge vibe. Inside you’ll find a new full-size bed with fresh linens and pillows, WiFi, lighting, power access (extension cord from main house) for charging devices, and thoughtful touches throughout the space. Amenities include: • Fresh Kangen water provided • Basic kitchen items (electric stovetop, plates/bowls, utensils, mason jars, salt/pepper) • Tea lights, a salt lamp candle, and Japanese incense/palo santo/sage for relaxing • Laptop tray • Locking door with deadbolt for peace of mind - There is a separate unfinished compost toilet room with a door for privacy. - Additional water access is available from the main house. The property has a little shady forest cove like sanctuary space with a hammock - perfect for relaxing, meditating, reading, or simply enjoying the forest energy of the Gorge. Location highlights: • Only 45 minutes from PDX • Epic Columbia River and mountain views • Walking distance to downtown Stevenson, grocery store, and riverfront • Amazing area for windsurfing, wing foiling, kiteboarding, hiking, soaking, and exploring Nearby attractions: • Dog Mountain Trailhead — ~8 minutes east • Carson Hot Springs — ~10 minutes east • Skamania Lodge — ~5 minutes west • Cascade Locks — ~8 minutes west > just across the Bridge of the Gods • Bingen / White Salmon / Hood River — about 20 minutes east 420-friendly. A dispensary is also within walking distance (less than 0.5 mile). Parking is available for up to two cars on the right side of driveway. A small trail along the right side of the house leads to the Shack. Please note: neighbors are occasionally working on a daytime construction project nearby, so there may be some periodic daytime noise. I’m a new host and genuinely happy to help guests discover the area. If you need something small during your stay — wine opener, extra kitchen item, first aid kit, local recommendations, etc. — just ask!
