This 80-acre family homestead and informal nature preserve sits just one mile outside the small town of Stevenson, WA, in the heart of the majestic Columbia River Gorge. While the homestead itself is tucked into a quiet canyon valley, the camping area is separate and has its own access road. This private sanctuary features large open meadows surrounded by forest groves and rustic walking trails, along with campsites overlooking the river and mountains. Guests are free to choose their own campsite and enjoy the space at their own pace. The location offers a peaceful and secluded setting to relax, explore, and access the many adventures available in the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area.At the forested edge of a large private meadow, overlooking the Columbia River and Cascade Mountains, is the camping area - where your only neighbors are wildlife. Enjoy the seclusion, or walk a quarter mile up the county road for a truly amazing panoramic view of the Columbia River. Other than a picnic table and portapotty, there are no amenities. Please take waste with you and leave no trace. Our family has stewarded this land for over 50 years and we're happy to share it with you!

Absolutely gorgeous views. Complete privacy. An idyllic series of meadows. We were a little early in the season, but the site is surrounded by wild berries that would be delicious camping treats. A wonderful place to reset and commune with nature!
