Pitch your tent beside a quiet pond surrounded by towering pines, spend the evening around a campfire, and wake to birdsong and fresh mountain air. Watch for deer, turtles, frogs, and songbirds as you unwind in a setting that feels worlds away from everyday life. Wander the property, take a refreshing dip in the spring-fed pond, pick wild berries when they're in season, or enjoy a friendly round on our rustic three-hole disc golf course. Whether you're relaxing by the water or exploring the woods, there's plenty of room to slow down and enjoy nature. Although you'll feel tucked away, Shadow Pond is just 15 minutes from Waterbury and within easy reach of Stowe, the Mad River Valley, scenic hiking trails, breweries, restaurants, and many of Vermont's most popular attractions. We're opening just one private campsite, giving guests the opportunity to enjoy the same peaceful corner of Vermont that our family has cherished for years. Whether you're looking for a quiet overnight stop or a weekend getaway, Shadow Pond offers a place to unplug, recharge, and experience Vermont at a slower pace.
