You will have access to the porta-potty at the campground, trash service, and the camp shower along with wifi. Tucked deep in the desert near Guadalupe Mountains National Park, this suite offers true solitude and some of the darkest night skies you’ll ever experience. Inside, you’ll find a queen bed, full bed, and camping cot to comfortably sleep up to five guests. The suite includes reliable WiFi, a smart TV, AC and heat for all-season comfort, and a dry kitchenette (no running water) for simple meal prep. It’s the perfect blend of rustic surroundings and modern convenience. The bathroom is only a short walk away to the lodge building, about 75 feet. Step outside to a landscape made for adventure: complimentary fat-tire bikes are available for guests, along with a variety of outdoor yard games. Wander the ranch’s interpretive hiking trail to learn about local plants, wildlife, and the region’s cultural history. From October through April, camp hosts operate a small trading post and offer fun crafting projects—great for families, groups, or anyone looking to tap into their creative side. Whether you spend your days summiting Guadalupe Peak, exploring hidden canyons, or simply soaking in the silence and stargazing, this remote suite offers a peaceful, immersive basecamp for your West Texas journey.

The ranch is designed for explorers and nature lovers, offering guided tours, wilderness hiking support, outfitting services, and a variety of camping options. Bathrooms & Showers While the tent itself is rustic, you’ll have access to shared amenities on the ranch. There’s a bathroom with running water, a flush toilet, and a hot shower available to all guests. For busier times, we also provide porta-potties and even an outdoor shower for those who want to rinse off under the open sky. Seasonal Concierge From October through April, our friendly ranch concierge is on-site to help with activities, offer services, and keep the small trading post open with essentials and local goods. From May through September, the ranch runs on a lighter schedule, offering a quieter, more self-guided experience. Plan Ahead Please note: this is a very remote corner of West Texas.
