Relax with your family or friends at this peaceful home away from home. Sip coffee or enjoy a drink on the huge covered porch overlooking the lake. Located inside Mid Lake Campground, which is centrally located mid-lake on Toledo Bend Lake with easy access to world class fishing anywhere on the lake. Free boat ramp access. Take in the stunning sunrises and sunsets with your lakefront view surrounded by Sabine National Forest and amazing views 1 Queen bed 1 Twin bunk bed with trundle bathtub/Shower combo ***All bed and bath linens provided. Free Wi-Fi. Bring your Netflix, Amazon, Disney, or other streaming services account logins. You should have cell phone service, but service will vary by carrier. Full access to all Mid Lake Campground amenities. Guests have full access to the cabin, boat ramp, swimming platform, fishing under the covered boat house, fish cleaning station, and waterfront pavilion. Guests may reserve a boat slip ($10-$15/day) and kayaks ($10 for half a day and $20 for a whole day). Please message host for availability of boat slip before booking. Cabin 5 is located inside Mid Lake Campground, which was built in 1968 with the creation of Toledo Bend Lake. Mid Lake Campground has pull through RV spaces, cabins, and houses. Many of our guests have long term "camps" in the campground; some reside in the campground year-round, while others are winter snowbirds. The campground is very quiet and peaceful with friendly neighbors. Our boat ramp is only short boat ride to Cypress Cove (bass tournament headquarters), Pendleton bridge, and the Gator Hole. Mid Lake Campground and Cabin 5 is perfectly situated for a great fishing trip, a day on the lake, or total relaxation taking in the amazing lake views in the clean country air. You can catch your limit of Crappie right under our boathouse, or visit the famous gator hole only 2 miles away by boat where you just might catch a trophy bass. Location & Distances: - Main Lake: 3 miles - Sabine Town: 5-minute boat ride - Pendleton Park: 10-minute boat ride - Cypress Bend: 6 miles - Sam Rayburn Lake: About 30 miles by car Amenities & Recreation: Enjoy the community swimming platform and kayaks (reach out for availability and to reserve) during the warm summer months.
