Bush camping at its best
Bush camping at its best. We started to name the sheep that would pop in to say hello. Loved going for walks and seeing the old relics tucked in between the granite boulders….. photographer’s haven especially at sunset. Elizabeth is the perfect host and she’s just a genuine beautiful lady. Definitely coming back.

Overall the site was really good. However it is worth noting that there is a bit of a track to get in to the site, which managed to put a few scratches on the caravan.

Bush Farm Camp by the Dam
Absolutely delightful
Absolutely love it. It was our second visit and we’ll definitely be back. She even remembered who we were and knew the area we were requesting to stay in. Although it is a trip from where we live, this will remain our number 1 place to stay. We love exploring the farm with our dog and love to see all the sights. Close to Stanthorpe and the shops while making you feel like you’re the only person in the world.

Liz was amazing and looked after us in every way. The animals are a treat and feeding the joey roo’s was the perfect way to end the day. Would stay again

Lovely quite spot, rugged track to get in but nothing to extreme, Liz will guide you to your spot so can’t get lost, plenty to explore and close to wineries and town if needed

We camped next to a large rock and the view was amazing overlooking the farm. The dogs were so friendly and cute. The camp site was really private and far from other campers. It was amazing.

Private bush camp.
We camped with friends in our caravans and had no trouble finding a flat area to set up. The view was to granite rocks and beyond. Sheep grazed close by. It was very private. The track in was a bit narrow in places but we manoeuvred ok. Will return.

So peaceful and well separated from other camping groups … loved the animals… cows, sheep, dogs kangaroos, chickens and ducks a lovely place to stay for a few nights. Elizabeth and John were very welcoming and made us feel right at home

So beautiful, spacious and quiet, yet so close to the best wineries and entertainment on the Granite Belt. You would hold back the review to ensure it does not get too popular. But jokes aside, if you love nature and camping by yourself with a lovely hist, farm animals and want to bring your dog, you cannot go past this spot.

We had a wonderful stay at Liz’s place. Beautiful scenery, peaceful and quiet. Pure serenity. A lovely visit from a cute sheep as well.

Just as good as a national park!
What a gem. This property is such a find. So much space, epic scenery, giant granite boulders to climb up on and take in the sunset. Beautiful rusted vintage trucks standing like sculptures among the kangaroos and sheep. Liz is a super friendly host and made us and our dogs feel so welcome. We'll be back for sure.

Overnight camping
Had a lovely overnight stay by the dam with the wildlife, Kangaroos, birds, crickets and frogs. Very friendly and thoughtful hosts. I will definitely return.

Great stay in Stanthorpe!
My son and I needed a quick overnight camp and this place ticked all the boxes. Its quiet and it's wild and we made a big fire with the wood supplied.

John and Liz were super welcoming and generous! We arrived on Christmas Eve in the dark after a big storm and were so very kindly offered to stay in an empty cottage for for night, so as not to have to find a spot and set up camp in the mud and pitch black. Was a very nice Christmas treat for us.
The property is beautiful with endless patches of forest to explore, plenty of space to find your own private campsite, the dogs at the house are gorgeous, there's plenty of wildlife and farm animals for entertainment. We really loved our time out there :)
