Welcome to Earth-001 — the founding site of The Star Colony. This is two acres of private high-desert land in Central Oregon: raw, open, and quiet, surrounded by big skies, mountain views, and some of the darkest nights you'll find in the state. It is undeveloped on purpose. You are arriving before anything is built — and that is exactly the point. The Star Colony is the first node of a planned network of real-world survival-and-exploration colonies. Earth-001 is where it begins, and right now it is Phase Zero: the founding era, before the first structure rises. What makes this stay different You're not just renting a campsite. When you book, you can become a Founding Colonist of Earth-001 — claim a colonist ID, receive your first on-site mission, and add your name to the founding registry. Founding numbers are permanent and assigned in order. The people who come now are, quite literally, first. On the land, in near future, you'll find a QR "deployment briefing" that walks you through it in two minutes. Your colonist identity is yours to keep, and it will carry forward as the colony — and the wider network — grows. A phone-based AR preview of the planned pyramid is in development for this site. Ask the host about current availability — when it's live, you'll be able to stand on the land and see the future structure rise at full scale.Earth-001 is a single private dispersed site on two open acres of Central Oregon high desert — yours alone for the stay. There's room to spread out: pitch a tent, park a van or RV (under 35 ft), and settle in under enormous, genuinely dark skies with mountain views in nearly every direction. Sleeps up to 8. This is primitive, off-grid camping by design. There are no built structures, no hookups, no potable water, no toilet, and no campfires (please follow all current fire restrictions). Come fully self-contained and pack in / pack out everything you bring. Pets are welcome. Desert nights get cold even in summer — bring layers, plenty of water, and a headlamp. What you can do here: stargaze and shoot astrophotography (the dark skies are the real amenity), watch the sun drop behind the Cascade peaks, create content, or simply sit in the quiet with minimum neighbors and light pollution. What makes this site different: you're standing on Earth-001, the founding site of The Star Colony — and right now it's Phase Zero, before anything is built. When you book, you can become a Founding Colonist: claim a colonist ID, receive a first mission, and add your name to the founding registry (numbers are permanent and assigned in order). An on-site QR "deployment briefing" is coming soon to walk you through it, and a phone-based AR preview of the planned pyramid is in development — ask the host about current availability. Come prepared, and the rawness becomes the magic. You're here before it exists. That's the point.
