This is just a little slice of heaven! Very private, with all the comforts you need while camping. I’m coming back again for those sunset views!
The views are beautiful and it’s a cozy little meadow. It’s secluded and quiet and easy to get to. I loved that the dogs could be off leash. And the bathroom was really cute!! There are no trees so definitely have cover to keep you out of the sun. The ticks were pretty bad so bring protection and check the pups often.
Solo female traveler experience: I felt safe! My 2025 Chevy trax had no issue getting there even though heavy rains had been coming through I think (two hours south it had been raining for days). As someone else mentioned, this is a field so it does get hot under direct sun if you don’t bring a shade. Gorgeous sunset and sunrise. It was super nice to have a picnic table!! It was so peaceful. It is very quiet! Stacy gave all info necessary prior to arrival. I treated my stuff with permethrin prior and used bug spray while there and didn’t have any issue with bugs but could hear them and the fireflies were lovely at night!

Really great site. Plenty of room if you have multiple vehicles, lovely night skies but still relatively close to gas, food. And the absolutely cleanest composting toilet ever.

The campsite was in a beautiful location and well-equipped. The flowers on the picnic table were a lovely touch. A rain storm came through a few hours after our arrival and Stacey offered us a dry place to wait out the storm (thankfully we were snug in our tent by then but appreciated the offer)! Wish we could have camped another night but would definitely stay at Stacey's campsite again when in the area!

An adorable camping spot with great views and thoughtful amenities. Private area with plenty of level ground for tents. Keep in mind this is a open area, great for stargazing, but if you intend to hang out during the day, be sure to bring a shade structure. Would definitely recommend this spot to other campers.
By far favorite hipcamp I've visited! Everything was clean and well laid out. And the outdoor Bathroom was so nice!
We loved our stay here and only wish we could have stayed longer!

Absolutely beautiful, quiet spot! Basic amenities were well stocked , Stacey’s guidance to where to go was well appreciated! Cute little town near by we were in town for the blues fest that weekend was amazing! We will definitely be back !!!
Such a great time at Wings Chrous! I like that you are pretty far away from major cities and highways so it was very peaceful. The composting toilet was clean and didn’t smell. Amazing views of sunrise and sunset as well as animal watching. Also plenty of water for washing up, we didn’t even use half of it. Would definitely book again. The only thing I would change is to bring better bug spray because the flies were no joke!

The land is well taken care of and its a very nice area. The amenities were wonderful inclusions that made it a really nice place to stay. You are very close to nature here, we saw lots of deer and heard many more animals, which helped make it a very relaxing stay. We will definitely be coming back!
