Beautiful farm, that was nice and quiet. Really a great get away. My son and I enjoyed fishing in the pond hanging out with the awesome farm dog and just enjoying a couple cooler nights.

We really enjoyed Coy's campsite, it is very nice, situated along the pond with a beautiful gazebo to enjoy the view. He provides a firebowl which we used to enjoy an evening with local friends who visited. Oh, and Brutus, his dog, is absolutely adorable. Best dog we have seen in a long time! We miss him...

This is a great place to stay. Very quiet right by a pond with water, electric and trash. The gazebo is available for reading or relaxing. There is also a fire pit.

Quick access from Raleigh. Nice open layout. Tenting with my 5 year old. We had a blast. Did t get a chance to enjoy the fire pit but everything was solid.

Coy’s property is so peaceful and the spot right on the small pond is a nice view. I had a little bit of a problem when I was heading out and Coy came to my rescue and went above and beyond to help me out. His dog Brutus is so sweet and wants as much loving as you will give him. I would definitely return if I’m ever back in the area. I highly recommend this location.

Coy’s property is beautiful and he was a great host. We have a 26ft motor home and we fit. Had to do some leveling- but it was not difficult. Having an extra long electric cord and hose are very beneficial and will allow you more flexibility in positioning a motor home. We did not and had to pull up into some of the pine needles - put it was not a problem. I think if your RV is longer than 30ish feet you will struggle.
We were visiting at the end of October and going to a football game at NC State- it was a short drive into Raleigh and would be a good spot for visiting any of the Triangle Universities. The color of the leaves and many of the views from our site were absolutely gorgeous.
No one else was there so we had the entire pond and area to ourselves. I would want to be friends if both sites were occupied, but if u like meeting new people it wouldn’t be a problem. Great site to tent camp or with a pull behind.
Great place and f you have young kids that like to run and play games in the grass, fish in the pond and peddle boat around the pond.
We would return again if we are in the area- and thank you Coy for sharing your land.

Beautiful scenery. Easy to pull into it, could be difficult to exit if ground is soggy.
Friendly dog upon arrival, but will chew flip flops and climb into vehicle. 😏

Perfect close to home getaway! The owners greeted us and were so nice. We really enjoyed fishing on the pond, using the paddle boat and relaxing by the fire pit.

We loved camping on Coy's land. It was on a pond with water & electric, a lighted gazebo, a paddle boat, a bridge across it, shade trees, we accidentally arrived early but Coy met us with a cooler filled with ice and answered any questions we had. Its a beautiful area. We will definitely be back!

This year's visit was every bit as nice as I remembered from last year. It's a beautiful spot, and very peaceful while being close enough to "civilization" to be quite handy. Plus, a blue heron flew over the pond as I was getting ready to leave!

I enjoyed my stay at Privette Pointe. Coy was helpful and it’s a good location for getting to things quickly. I traveled to the Raleigh area for the bike trail, but there are other good options for outdoor activities. This spot was also close to a great tavern and breakfast spot. Getting to the site was easy, in fact, I got there late and had to set up in the dark, but it was still easy. The best part was having the spot to myself. There are two spots maximum, so I was lucky and had it all to myself.

Such great hostess and very responsive! We had a little trouble finding our way to the camp site and they helped us right out! After we got settled they stopped by to check on us which was very helpful as it was our first time camping. Beautiful area to camp and we will be back for sure!

Privette Pointe was amazing! Being out in the open was very nice to see the stars and the sunrise. The pond is a great feature and the fish were biting constantly! Good area to set up and enjoy the outdoors, make sure you bring bug spray for mosquitos! Rodney was a great host when we arrived, showed us the water spigot and the lights situation, the gazebo is super cute and the string lighting on the trees and around the pond was so nice! We would certainly recommend camping here, our group had a great experience.

This property is truly beautiful. Both sites on the pond have ample space and great views of the entire property. The host is so incredibly accommodating, his father even brought us some ice and he and I had a great conversation. If you are ever in this area, you need to reserve your spot here! You will not regret it!

Fantastic place to camp. Gorgeous location, quiet and a place to just relax! I can't wait to come back, especially to just relax. Coy's father came by to visit, offer help and ice. We'll be back.

This hidden gem is even more lovely than the photos, which themselves are beautiful. The grass sites are mostly level although careful placement is important. Although it is close to a highway, the sounds of traffic are blocked by a hill so while convenient, it seems quite isolated. I'll be back here again!

We loved our stay at Privette Point! The property was beautiful, with the trees, wildlife, and bridge over the pond (the latter of which also provided a great place to fish under) making the perfect place to get away and relax for the weekend. The host was also very helpful and responsive, making sure we had everything we needed during our stay which we really appreciated!

Privette Pointe was such a delight! A perfect spot to get away from it all. The ponds are full of fish. My husband enjoyed being able to fish right from our spot. Highly recommend!
