Peaceful Waterfront Site
20 ft pop-up camper · With kids · This was a beautiful camping spot for our family. We wanted somewhere secluded where we could hop over to the Outer Banks, and it was great. Plan for high grass, uneven terrain, and mosquitoes. The drive in is unpaved and wooded, but 2WD vehicles can make it with small campers. Anything other than a pop up I would check with the host. There is not really a beach, it’s more of a rocky shoreline but, again, a beautiful coastal view with sail boats, shrimp boats, and sea birds to watch. The dock is a great place to sip your coffee. Even with it being hot (end of July/early August so, of course it was!) and buggy, we really enjoyed this spot and would stay again.
