Peaceful Waterfront Site

This was a beautiful camping spot for our family. We wanted somewhere secluded where we could hop over to the Outer Banks, and it was great. Plan for high grass, uneven terrain, and mosquitoes. The drive in is unpaved and wooded, but 2WD vehicles can make it with small campers. Anything other than a pop up I would check with the host. There is not really a beach, it’s more of a rocky shoreline but, again, a beautiful coastal view with sail boats, shrimp boats, and sea birds to watch. The dock is a great place to sip your coffee. Even with it being hot (end of July/early August so, of course it was!) and buggy, we really enjoyed this spot and would stay again.

I had a magical time at Isaiah’s place. Gorgeous sunset view, quiet private campsite right on the water. I spent 4th of july weekend away from the crowds soaking up the beautiful weather.

This is a beautiful and secluded spot. The upsides are tons of wildlife; I saw hawks hunt fish, muskrat swim by, etc. The sunsets are gorgeous. The lows are that the beach pictured is full of debris (bricks, cinderblocks, etc), and is super shallow. The dock is also in pretty rough shape. Overall, I would stay here again though!

I stayed for 4 days and had a great time enjoying the campsite provided. The beach access was great for paddling access to the water. Plenty of shoreline and a nice place for a campfire. The host has some firewood that i purchased and that was nice to dry off and keep some bugs away. If you're looking for off the beaten path and low key experience, this place is it. I will likely return. Thanks for letting me stay.

Really beautiful, tranquil space. Isaiah made sure were comfortable and then we were left in true privacy with only the trees, water, birds, and flowers as company. Great camp spot for a family as it's a short drive to downtown amenities if you need to go off site.
