Great spot to visit Letchworth. Clean outhouse, nice firepit, gravel pad to park trailer/car, etc. Be careful of the big boulders lining the drive and pull in if pulling a camper/trailer. It is next to a farm that had machinery and trucks on the road during the weekday and the site is right next to the road. Hardly any traffic on the weekend though. Perfect spot to spend some time at Letchworth as it is very close. We camped with another couple who stayed in site 2 at the same time and it was a perfect set up for a group wanting to camp together but still having your own space to retreat to. The sites are big with trees and firewood was on site. Sign at the site that says you are on camera, which was a little strange, but it didn't stop us from staying. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect for visiting Letchworth

We stayed at sites 1 and 2 with 2 hybrid campers. What an amazing spot for visiting Letchworth! Very easy to find and nicely marked. The two sites being by each other, yet not too close. Gave privacy for adult daughter and boyfriend, yet just a short walk along a path to join for dinner, etc. It rained, and rained with high winds during our stay, so our weekend was challenged to be outdoors. The gravel parking pad was appreciated and no mudding even after a-lot of rain. The outhouse and firepit were very nice with added touches. Firewood on property (although we had stopped on our way and picked up wood that we couldn’t use anyway because of the rain!) Beware of the large boulder lining the entry and road the sites sit along. If you are towing a camper, it is tricky and you can’t go on the grass at all (per request of Emily which was understandable), but made it very difficult to park, etc. Signs at the site that say you are under 24 hour video surveillance which seemed a little creepy. We use Hipcamp and Airbnb’s a lot and have never had a sign like that. Maybe others record and we just don’t know it. The site was only a 10 min drive to Letchworth, was very private for the most part. Sites do sit next to a working farm. Farm machinery was running our first day there. Site 1 is right along the farm road with vehicles going by. Site 2 is a bit more private. We stayed Memorial Day weekend and were so happy to not be in a crowded campground. Would definitely stay here again!

I was looking for a secluded spot that provided easy access to the nearby state park and as far as that goes i was not disappointed. The hostess communicated clearly and was very accommodating and friendly.
The site itself was as described. The shelter provides very convenient storage for gear! My only complaint is that the site borders some adjacent farmland which would not be an issue itself save for 2 things: An almost constant odor of manure that permeates the site, making things extra lovely. Along with that is the very frequent sound of farm implements being used.
In short, the site is as described and for the price it worked out for me. The ambient noises and odors tho make me question going back, unfortunately

Perfect Basecamp for exploring Letchworth state park. Nice level gravel parking spot for our van. The outhouse isnt far away and very clean. We enjoyed lounging by the fire at night.

Great spot for a quiet stay near Letchworth. Clean, well-maintained, and convenient. Sites 1 & 2 are nice clearings at the edge of woods and farmland, with convenient access to the public dirt road. Outhouse is clean and stocked.

Such a beautiful spot!! We went in early Fall and the campsite was surrounded by blooming golden rod. Waking up to the sunrise over the field was gorgeous. We got in after dark, but it was still pretty easy to find. The picnic table and lantern lit path to the outhouse were a luxury. Perfect place to stay before going to Letchworth state park, I only wish we had gotten in sooner to enjoy the scenery for longer!

Took a very last-minute trip to Letchworth and stayed two nights. It was perfection-the view, the location, off-grid but a clean compostable toilet, lots of kindling (and firewood to purchase nearby) for a campfire…absolutely would stay here again.

We enjoyed a couple beautiful nights camping under the stars. Their land is perfect if you are looking for a remote, private and quiet spot to enjoy the outdoors. Close to Letchworth State Park and many other amazing hidden gems. There is a nicely kept outhouse but no showers or potable water so make sure you bring body wipes and your own water. There are tons of houses in the area that provide firewood so you can enjoy a smore or two! The spot was easy to find and easy to set up at. Beautiful area to explore. Not many bugs surprisingly! We would recommend this spot to anyone!!

Campsite was in a beautiful location, partially shaded, with a clean outhouse. Emily was easy to communicate with, and the directions were clear. Perfect spot to easily access the park! We loved our time and would recommend to anyone looking to find some peace and quiet.

The campsite was perfect for our weekend trip. Very close to Letchworth state park. Secluded but easy to find, and the bathroom facility was excellent! Very clean. Grounds were clearly cared for, and the fire pits were well maintained. We would definitely stay here again :)

McCormick Farms Base Camp is a great alternative if you are visiting the Finger Lakes and / or Letchworth State Park. The campsite was easy to find, and quite clean. The outhouse was spectacular!

The location is so close to the Portageville entrance to Letchworth State Park - it was very convenient to get to the park from the campsite. The site was large and had a nice picnic table and fire ring plus a very clean outhouse. Although the road to get there is gravel, you aren't on it for long and there wasn't much traffic at all along the road. The site is great for listening to nature. It feels remote, but you are close to the state park and a short drive from places to eat and get gas or supplies.

We had such a peaceful and relaxing stay at McCormick Farms BaseCamp! After a very long drive and hike, this was the perfect spot to pitch our tent, have a fire and relax under the stars. We chose this spot as it was very close to Letchworth State Park, which was amazing. Although you are close to the park, it feels very private and secluded. The bathroom was in great condition as well as the fire pit, and the spot was maintained perfectly. It was an extra special treat to see the hot air balloons right above our campsite at night and in the morning!

Tent camping at BaseCamp couldn’t be easier. Very easy to locate, outhouse was very accessible and neighbors are far enough away you still feel secluded.

My long time partner and I went out for a weekend get away to Emily’s land and it was so beautiful:) The land was quiet, and peaceful. Unknowingly on one of our afternoons we had noticed some big colors in the sky and to our sight for about an hour long was a parade of hot air balloons. breathtaking. definitely one of my favorite camping trips i’ll be putting in the books forever. Thank you Emily!!

I loved the location. Close to Letchworth. Nice views of rolling farmland and even hot air balloons (at least when I was there in July). There was plenty of sticks in the woods nearby to make a fire as well and the place was stocked with a box of essentials like bug spray, sun screen, tp, etc. and a reasonable outhouse that didn’t stink.

We enjoyed our camping at Emily's place called McCormick Farm Base Camp. I'm marking it as one of my favorites. There was really a flowering plant on the picnic table! There is a big new outhouse for campers use and a box with extra supplies one might need if you forgot them like bug spray, sun lotion, first aid kit, garbage bags, and a Guest Book! There are solar lights to mark the entance and on the trail to the outhouse. She thought of everything. What I liked best was sitting with the forest at my back and looking at the farm fields and rolling hills in the distance with the sun shining. Oh...and the birds...so many chirping and singing their songs. So relaxing and beautiful! This Hipcamp is on a dirt road and very private and quiet. It was easy to find because of the signs she has there. Communication was excellent and we had a long text chat. Very friendly and helpful. I recommend highly!!

This place is great for a visit to Letchworth. The camping areas were very spacious and secluded from one another. It was very private and quiet. Emily was great! She is a very responsive and friendly host and has thought of little details to make the stay great!

Wonderful Stay. Perfect for parking our van and sleeping. Campfire pit was wonderful and they even had a few extra at the camsite just incase.
There is a gas station that only sells 93 gas down the way.
That sells icecream ! Get the “Bee sting” icecream! Soo delicious and fire wood is for sale diagonally across the road from the gas station.
