Our property 'Bush Paddock' and 'Bush Cabin' are located just 10 minutes from the historical town of Stroud, and offer a secluded peaceful getaway for those that love the outdoors and simple living. Book this site or cabin for just you and your group exclusively, or book both for your exclusive use. Enjoy quiet, private surroundings during the day, and dazzling star shows at night. The large campsite and cabin are located on a level, grassed area with plenty of space to pitch tents, or park campers and caravans. Children just love the level grassy land to run and just be a kid. It's perfect for games like cricket, soccer, and football to name a few. The amenities block has both toilet and shower, and there is also power available to connect up to. A large sheltered area, our camp kitchen, includes fridge, barbeque, electricity, kettle, table, chairs and more. Enjoy bird watching, visiting wallabies in the late afternoon, or looking for fossils in the seasonal creek just a few metres away. The historical town of Stroud is only 10 or so minutes away if you need supplies. Karuah River is close by for swimming and fishing, and the Barrington Tops National Park is approximately 50 minutes away. Ride Dungog is located at The Common in Dungog, for mountain bike enthusiasts. The area includes 650 acres offering trails for all different levels. While visiting Dungog, there are boutique cafes and shops, a historic cinema, and a lot more to see as you wander through the streets. Unfortunately we no longer have parties, including 18ths, 21sts etc.

Great place. Great facilities.
Great property. Great facilities. Loved the covered kitchen and fire place. The bathroom was perfect. Just like being at home. True glamping.

Bush paddock with everything
Cherie’s Bush Paddock has everything you would ever need camping plus much more. The large undercover area was great especially if you had bad weather. Unfortunately the creek was dry but it would make a lovely addition to the camp.

10/10. Would 100% recommend staying at the cabin. Lovely owners and the property was better than we thought it was going to be. Perfect get away if you’re looking for peace and quiet.

Great little get-away with fam!
We enjoyed our 3 night stay at Cherie's and Gregs camping ground. The facilities were exactly what we wanted including a renovated toilet/shower room, undercover eating area and kitchen with a working fridge to store our food. The property was very large so it felt like we were by ourselves. The kids enjoyed playing with the dogs on the property, exploring the trails and playing with the ball on grass. We spotted a bit of wild wife including kangaroos and a variety of birds. The place is not too far from Barrington Tops national park which we were able to go to and do a bushwalk, as well as go fishing in Allworth.

Great family friendly camping
My family and friends loved camping here during the January school holidays. It’s an amazing campground with an outdoor kitchen with plenty of shelter, tables and chairs, 2 fireplaces, lounges and a large fridge. The bathroom is great, there’s power, a BBQ, plates, cups, utensils. The bush paddock has everything you might need which makes camping with young kids easier. The kids had fun on the tree swing, slide, chalk board and spotting wallabies. We even spotted a tortoise crossing the road from the creek to the billabong and a tiny green tree frog outside the bathroom. It’s just a quick drive down to the local public swimming pool to cool down when it’s hot. We loved our stay here and will be returning again.
