The Riverside Farm Escape is a family owned cattle farm situated on the picturesque Wang Wauk River in Minimbah, Mid North Coast NSW. Our well maintained, grassy campground and RV stop provides spectacular views of the Wang Wauk River, which flows into the magnificent Wallis Lakes. The Riverside property spans 103 acres of rich farmland and has over 500 meters of river frontage, ideal for kayaking, paddle boarding and fishing, with water access to Forster / Tuncurry. A gravel boat ramp provides easy access to Wang Wauk River ideal for small boats/tinnies. The property also boasts a beautiful dam, full of blooming lilies, a favourite for the kids to kayak and swim. Surrounding natural bushland is teeming with wildlife, including wallabies, kangaroos, lizards, and vibrant native bird species. Access: Suitable for 2WD and 4WD vehicles Site Options: Powered and non-powered sites available. Non powered sites on the River front, Lily Dam and Paddock Views. Fire Pits: Provided at all sites for cozy evenings under the stars Firewood: Conveniently available for purchase Pet-Friendly: Bring your furry friends (on-leash at all times) Please clean up after them. The Paddock View sites overlook the grassy paddocks that house our small herd of cattle and also have glimpses of the Wang Wauk River. Sites are well maintained and flat. RIVERSIDE SITES
Camping by the river was wonderful and being able to launch our kayaks from beside our van made things very easy. Nice place to swim when it gets hot also helped although access a bit of a challenge. One and only downside was the traffic noise in the night seems to travel straight up the river. Enjoyed our stay and we will be back

The camp areas were beautiful by the river or the dam. The property was well set up for campers and would definitely recommend. Look forward to stopping there again.

We were lucky enough to book last minute, set up in the dark and wake up with an amazing river view! Great communication and easy instructions from Richard and Roslyn, fantastic amenities and such a beautiful property. Hoping we get a chance to stay and take the canoes out again! :) Thanks so much definitely recommend !

This was our second time at Riverside. I love that we can swim in the pond, bring the dogs, have a camp-fire and there are good amenities.

We loved the natural beauty of this campsite. Such a calming, clean, organised place to spend a night on our road trip south. We will come back for longer next time knowing how gorgeous this place is. A perfect spot for a family to spend time together outdoors.

We had a lovely time at this serene and peaceful campsite. The place was quiet and calm, with mesmerizing views of the river and a picture-perfect lily pond. The toilet facilities were clean and well maintained, which made our stay even more comfortable. There was a bit of faint noise from the highway, but it was hardly noticeable and didn’t disturb our sleep at all. Richard and Roslyn were wonderful hosts and kindly let us choose our preferred campsite since most were available. Overall, it was a beautiful and relaxing experience, we’d definitely love to visit again!

We stayed on the Lily dam and it was a bloody top spot. The hosts are most accommodating with being able to text for firewood and having it delivered within the hour. Highly recommend staying here, we will be back.

We absolutely loved our stay at Riverside Farm! It was the perfect getaway for two families. The views are beautiful, and the whole area feels peaceful and relaxed (with only a hint of highway noise if you really listen for it) The hosts were friendly and provided clear, helpful directions, which made everything easy from the start. The grounds are stunning and so well cared for, we were constantly in awe of how much attention has gone into maintaining the place. The toilets and shower were clean, and there was plenty to keep both kids and adults entertained, kayaks (with some small life jackets provided), soccer goals, a bike riding circle, a short walking trail with slides and hidden gems, a small playground, and a sandy beach area (with toys included). It’s a great spot for families, especially once the kids are old enough to be trusted near the water’s edge and even great for couples/groups of friends with some sites far at the other end of the grounds. Each morning we woke to peaceful wildlife sounds, which made it all the more relaxing. The only minor note is that the amenities could get a little busy if several extra sites are booked, but that’s a small trade off for such an amazing place. We’ll definitely be back whenever we can!

Beautiful spot, would definitely stay again! The kids also loved it with plenty to keep them entertained. Wear shoes, lots of bindies around the sites. We had a friendly visit from a possum and a potoroo at night!

My only disappointment was that we could only stay one night! Beautiful grounds, well kept and clean. Sites are generously sized and felt so private. The views over the river were stunning and host provided clear instructions on how to find camp and access to facilities. Our puppers loved exploring. The lily pond was a perfect spot for an afternoon cool down. We'll definitely be back!
