Cosy tiny house in quiet woods
I spent a wonderful birthday weekend at Lisa’s tiny house and I wish I could have stayed another week! The tiny house was spotlessly clean, perfectly ordered, and beautifully functional. The kitchen has everything you need for one or two people, the loft bed is sooo cosy and comfy, and the living space is furnished with plenty of seating and lovely books and games for those who didn’t bring any. The little propane heater on the wall kept me quite comfortable in the cool evenings and mornings. I didn’t use the fire pit outside because it was a bit chilly when I was there but I did eye it enviously and I’m sure the view of the night sky at nice is amazing. The little bathroom in the back of the tiny house has a toilet and walk-in-shower and is perfect for a quick rinse off. I brought my dog and she slept comfortably on her bed under the table.
Lisa’s directions were spot on, making the house very easy to find and to figure out where to park. The drive is not long, so if you are worried about making the little hill on the way out, it’s not far to walk your things to the tiny house.
The tiny house is so conveniently located to so much great hiking and small northern Michigan towns, never more than 15 minutes to anything interesting. We enjoyed the nearby trails, the views of the lake, and the local breweries.
I can’t speak highly enough of the space that Lisa has created and maintained. It feels so wonderfully peaceful and has everything you need for a relaxing and fun stay.
