Escape to our 10-acre woodland retreat, where privacy meets natural beauty just minutes south of Traverse City. Nestled against hundreds of acres of state land, our property offers a perfect blend of wilderness and comfort with multiple accommodation options. Check in 3:00pm check out 11:00am We have eight thoughtfully placed RV sites, a cozy vintage mobile home, and tent sites available. The west end of the property offers endless opportunities for exploration and wildlife viewing. (Note: can be muddy at certain times of the year.) Here, you'll find yourself immersed in the peaceful rhythm of nature. Watch deer graze in the morning mist, listen to birdsong from your private space, and end your days stargazing under our light-pollution-free sky. The dense woods ensures privacy from neighbors, creating a true sanctuary in nature. The full 10 acres serve as a common area shared by the eight sites and the vintage mobile home located near the entrance of the property. Despite feeling wonderfully remote, we're conveniently located just a short drive from Traverse City’s attractions, wineries, beaches, and renowned restaurants. Enjoy the best of both worlds—total seclusion with easy access to Northern Michigan’s most beloved destinations. Good spot to set up "base camp" for easy access to Traverse City and Sleeping Bear Lakeshore. Straightforward instructions, peaceful, and the night sky was breathtaking! Good alternative to pricey hotels in the area.

Super awesome location with amazing pricing! We were allowed to makeshift our own campfire since there wasn’t any there hopefully allowed to leave it for future campers! We hope to be back within the week we are from downstate recently came up north to camp at new places! This was fantastic it’s like 10 minutes away from everything you need but far enough to be private.. super easy to find and the host is very responsive 👍🏻

Overall, it is a decent place to stay. It would be even better if the air conditioning effectively covered both rooms, the water heater (boiler) had enough capacity for more than three guests, and there was an additional bathroom to accommodate larger groups more comfortably.
