Our family’s old 41 Place and acreage is located conveniently right off of US highway 41. this is a perfect respite with easy access off the road, but charmingly secluded amongst the trees. We’re located in the heart of the Upper Peninsula. Approx 35 minutes drive to either Escanaba or Marquette and central to most everything. Our sites are surrounded by beautiful old maples, wispy pines, plentiful spruce and other north woods trees. On the back side, The property faces charming meadows of wildflowers, rolling fields and lush forest land. On the front side, a secluded view of the highway through the trees. Larger leveled areas for RV’s and tents available near the 41 Place structures and common area. More private, secluded spots for tents and smaller camping set ups available amongst the trees. Other amenities: The Common area at the 41 Place is amongst the group of maples in middle of the drive. It has a picnic table and fire pit with firewood available on site. Common area has a trash can (for non fecal waste). Note: Power hook ups and water are not supplied at this time, so only “dry camping” for now. The “41 Place” is being redeveloped, so these amenities will hopefully be added soon.

This site is a lovely area next to the big pines. Beautiful view of the forest and meadows. Perfect for tents or other smaller camping set ups. Amenities: Common area in middle of the circle drive (next to the 41 Place) has a fire pit, trash receptacle, sitting area and other amenities. Fire wood provided. Nature walking area on property… Easy access to 41 from driveway. Hunting in back woods available during hunting season.

A lovely spot amongst the trees. Away from everything but forest and meadows, trees and fields. The thicker trees at this site offer a natural buffer for highway sounds.

Field & Forest view - RV Site

This site is large enough for most any size RV/ trailer. You’ll have a beautiful variety of views of forest, field and meadow, and also a clear view of hwy 41 through the maples. House isn’t a private residence, so the area is semi private aside from a few other campers. At this time, i only host up to 4 campsites at a once.

The Big Pine
The sites for camping were accessible directly through a driveway from Highway 41. We had a great view at the night sky from our tent and the pine tree and terrain sufficiently shielded minor traffic noise from the road. The host was very nice and helpful!
