Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
Wooded lot on a canal to Wixom lake available for rustic camping. The lake level has been down since the dam failure in 2020.. We should have our lake back sometime in 2027. Pitch a tent or bring your camper but be prepared for no water or electric. Solar rope lighting (Ask if generator is available) Porta potty on site Shed with a few basic camping items, picnic table and fire pit. Dogs are welcome! Driveway is shared with the rustic cabin next to campsite. The cabin will be available for rent by the end of June. please be respectful of neighbors. 17 miles north of Midland.This campsite used to be a waterfront lot on Wixom Lake. Unfortunately we are currently without water in our lake. This site will still be available to rent as a rustic site. No water or electric hook up. Wooded lot with amazing atmosphere.

There is no water in the lake!
After I booked, I got a message saying the LAKE had no water. From the description (and photos), I had not understood this to be the case. Denise offered a full refund, but I have yet to receive one and have gotten no response to follow up messages inquiring about the status of my refund.

Group trip
Had a great peaceful night. Would definitely recommend this property! Good location, felt secluded and kayaks were a major plus!! Would definitely stay again.

We enjoyed the privacy of this location and loved the dock and lake access. Our host was very helpful. This was on a lake community, so there was the usual Friday evening noise, but the site was wooded and secluded. We paddled out to pontoon alley, per our host's recommendation. If you like to paddle this is a good spot!
