Centrally located in the upper peninsula, i took a day trip to the upper and lower taquaminum falls. I also went to the soo locks the same day. Pictured rocks is a day trip, i made a couple of trips to escanaba to the island city resort casino. Had a very peaceful vacation and great accommodations. Very clean bathrooms and showers.

We live in the lower part of west Michigan and wanted to do some sxs trail riding in the UP. Never having explored this part of our state, we picked this campground due to the positive reviews. Camp owner's communication was great and we learned there were trails right across the driveway from the camp before we even arrived. Upon arriving and getting settled in we were met with the bets camp host and later met the owner's of the campground. They, as locals, gave us great information on trails to ride. Looking forward to another visit and definitely recommend this quiet, clean and friendly campground.

Great little spot, super easy to get in and kind camp hosts! Very close to Kitch-iti-kipi! Bathroom is clean and hot water was INSTANT!

We had a wonderful stay at this campsite. It was clean, well-maintained, right by the lake with beautiful sunrises. The hosts were also really kind and helpful. Perfect spot for a peaceful getaway. Highly recommend!

Steps from the lake. Quiet. Very clean and updated vault toilets, toilet and shower. Julie was very helpful and welcoming. We really enjoyed our stay.

Good people…..great place to chill and clear your mind. Bring a boat if you’re looking to fish. Would you rather be in a packed campground? Or a place with privacy? This place has privacy. Thanks to everyone there

The cabin was very clean and well stocked. Nice quiet place. Heck, we we're having a little fire and the owner came to see how we were and if we needed anything. The kids piped up "you have marshmallows?" They walked with her to her home and came back with all the makings for s'mores 😂

This was a really fun, nice place to stay. There’s plenty of room and an easy walk to the lake. We took a short drive to see Lake Kitchi-iti-kipi, (worth the less than 15 minute drive to go out on the lake on the hand-propelled, wooden raft provided at the dock). I really appreciate that everyone was so accommodating when we unknowingly parked in the wrong spot. Love that good, old Midwest hospitality! We would love to stay here again the next time we are passing through.

It was a very cute campground we had a great time!!! The host was very nice and alot of fun! The space was great, close to the shower and bathroom (! Newly painted and very clean. Even brought me some coffee the next morning!! We will definitely be going back.

We loved this place! Kim and Rod (camp hosts) and Julie and Scott (owners) were all very welcoming and accommodating. I reached out directly with a request and it was granted. I also asked about someone that I was searching for and they helped me to regain contact even though they did not know who it was. 🥰 The campground itself is very well kept up. We would not have thought that it was not a recently opened campground. Lake Michigan is an easy 5 mile drive away and Kitch-iti-kipi is about a mile away. We really loved that there were only 8 sites and that the wood that could be purchased on site was dry and priced right! Ice was available as well. My kids enjoyed the playground equipment. We will definitely stay here when in the area, no need to look for a better place.

It was very quiet. Rained all day, but we were able to enjoy all of the green forest and the many ferns. Kim and her husband were very helpful. We did get lost getting there. Our GPS took us way past the campgrounds.

The family who owns the place are so incredibly kind and Elli is the cutest dog ever. If you want to go camping but still be close to easy comforts, this place is great! If I go back to the area, I'm 100% rebooking this area

The property is beautiful, quiet and surrounded by a dense forest. Guests have access to Indian Lake, and the lakefront has a lovely dock and double swing.
We "glamped" in the climate controlled, fully furnished cabin, and enjoyed the luxury of a clean bath and operational kitchen.
Firewood was inexpensive and accessible and the grounds managers were helpful and polite, but really gave us our privacy.

The campground was absolutely perfect. The cutest strip of land with one of the best views of the lake. We had a full hookup and were taken very good care of! We will be back in the summer to swim!
