We are located in the Tri-City area. Saginaw, Bay City, and Midland are all about 10 miles from our location. Our site is quiet and spacious and can easily accommodate a big rig with a tow vehicle, if needed. There is easy access for backing in. The campsite is located on our Centennial Farm, surrounded by farmland and a large yard. A fire pit with firewood is provided if you let us know in advance. Dow Gardens and the nearby Canopy Walk are just a short drive away.Our location is on our centennial farm. We have a large space, surrounded by grass that can easily handle a big rig and a tow vehicle. We offer a fire pit with wood if asked a head of time. We are located in the tri city area. Midland, Bay City and Saginaw are just about 15 minutes away with the Saginaw Bay and Lake Huron not too far either. Midlands Dow Gardens and the famous Canopy walk are close as well.

Rig suitability

Vehicles under 70 feet allowed

Allowed rigs: travel trailers, fifth wheels, toy haulers, pop-up campers, class A RVs, class B RVs, class C RVs, campervans, cars, truck campers, and rooftop tents

Back-in site

If you are flat towing you would have to drop your tow to back in. We would also be fine with you parking in front of the site in the driveway if you do not want to drop your tow. You would need an extension cord long enough. Approximately 50 ft total. There is enough room to pull in and make a circle so you would be facing towards the road.

Campfires allowed

Firewood provided, firepit. A certain amount of wood is provided on request. There would be a small fee with additional wood.

Pets allowed

On leash. Dogs are only allowed on leash. One of the owners has a fear of dogs but understands many travel with their pets. All dog droppings must be cleaned up and put in a specified location. Certain dogs may be allowed off leash for running but only after in person discussion with hosts.

No toilet; campers must bring camp toilets

Potable water available

Spigot. Our water comes out of a spigot that runs from our well. We drink the same water. Our well is a free flowing well and the water is excellent.

Bins available

Trash bin. Tied or closed trash bags can be set in front of our barn in the morning by 10am.

We have a coleman 2 person hot tub that is available only on request as sometimes we have family visiting and would not be able to share it. We would need to be given notice a head of time to make sure it wasn't in use. or taken down for the season.

Peaceful stay near Midland

Country Rest Stop

We loved our stay on this beautiful farm just outside of Midland. Augie met us as we pulled in, and showed us where to park. We appreciated that the parking pad was well graded to stay dry despite the recent rain. Kelly came out to tell us some good places to eat in Midland. After that first day they left us in peace for our three day stay. We loved the views across the fields in all directions, and the fireflies rising up from the lawn in the evenings. The spot is on a side road , so not a lot of privacy, but also not much going on this farm road out in the country. Loved Midland, so much to do! We rode bikes on the Pere Marquette rail trail, visited Dow Gardens and the canopy walk, enjoyed the Chippewa Nature Preserve, and of course The Tridge! They were lovely hosts, and we would absolutely love to come back to stay again, if we come back through Midland area again.
