Creature comforts
Enjoy the comforts of home—including flush toilets, showers, and a kitchen.
Come enjoy the peace and quiet of our lovely piece of paradise. Watch the deer and wild turkeys grazing early morning and listen to the birds wake up the day. Very secluded property on a quiet road. 20 minutes from Traverse City where you can enjoy wineries, excellent food and shopping. Sleeping bear national lake shore is a short 30 minutes drive from downtown Traverse City. If you enjoy hiking, access to the north country trail is a 5 minute drive from your campsite where you can enjoy the bluffs overlooking the Manistee River. A 10 minute drive will take you to the high roll aways. A favorite spot of the locals to take in one of the most spectacular overlooks for viewing the fall colors. We also have mowed trails through our 120 acres for a quiet walk. The 5th wheel can accomodate 6 people comfortably. There is A/C if the days are hot as well as heat for cool evenings. The master bedroom has a comfy king size bed. The second bedroom has a couch that pulls out to a queen bed. The couch in the living area also pulls out to a queen bed. There is a fun loft that the kiddos will enjoy as their own private sleep area. Full size frig/freezer. All cooking gear provided as well as towels and bedding. We have used the 5th wheel the last 3 winters in Florida, so it is well stocked with necessities. There is a small Blackstone grill on site as well as a fire pit for roasting weenies and marshmallows. Fire wood is provided. An outside table and 4 chairs is provided as well as 6 camp chairs. My "she shed/potting shed" is available for our guests. It's a peaceful spot for reading on the little porch while enjoying a glass of wine. You can see the small pond with waterfall from the porch. You are welcome to sit inside and read as well. Our friends all comment how quiet it is here and that it is a "park-like setting. Come check out our little piece of paradise in northern Michigan!
