Lovely clean site with friendly hosts. Everything as described.
R&R is the perfect name for Rae Ann’s place. It’s a peaceful little respite on the hill—close enough to town to be convenient, but secluded enough to feel quiet and private. Our spot was easy to access, level, clean, and exactly as pictured and described. There are trails to explore, gardens, cute chickens, and dogs, and you can tell this property is a really special place to them. We felt lucky that they shared it with us. Rae Ann was gracious, welcoming, and very easy to communicate with. We’d happily stay here again.
An absolute gem of a campsite! Our hosts were incredibly gracious and welcoming, going completely out of their way to make our stay perfect. The location is ideal—it sits right on top of a hill away from the city noise, yet it’s only about three minutes from local restaurants, the harbor, and Lake Superior beaches. It also served as the perfect basecamp for exploring Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, which was an easy 20-minute drive away for daily trail hiking and beach trips. The site itself offers total privacy and effortless access, complete with full hookups, fun walking trails, and resident chickens that our kids absolutely loved. This was our children's first time visiting this part of the country, and the combination of this beautiful property and the top-tier hospitality made it unforgettable. We will absolutely be back!

Beautiful place to stay. We were parked in close proximity to the barn and house but we had our own private fire-pit area behind the barn. We enjoyed good conversation with the host and a nice walk through the woods on the trails. Highly recommend!
P.S. Their dogs were very cute.
