An oasis right at the gateway to the eastern shore: this land has been stewarded for decades to be a peaceful, verdant escape from the hustle and bustle of Maryland life. The sun rises on a large field where pollinators, birds, foxes, and deer frequent, and sets with a truly glorious play of color and light on Cox Creek. Mulberry Lane is a space where nature leads, and enjoyable experience follows: sip morning coffee on the dock, walk under the shade of the maple and mulberry trees, kayak or canoe on the creek, and end the day with a crackling fire under the stars. Located minutes from Route 50 and all of the amenities that Kent Island offers, this space provides comfort and closeness to nature that's rare to find. We provide RV parking with 30 amp and water hookup accommodating vehicles up to 35 feet.Mulberry Lane's RV grass camp site is a 60x40 foot designated space at the top of a maintained gravel driveway. There is direct access to electricity and water from the campsite. Guests will have access to the dock, the beach, the lane, and the front field - approximately 5 acres. Say hello to the chickens and our turkey or walk the shady mulberry tree lined lane. There are kayaks and a canoe that can be launched from our private beach, but guests must wear life jackets. We have a fire pit with firewood available for purchase, and lots of kindling and small sticks on hand that have been generously donated by our abundant trees. We respect our natural neighbors here: music should be at reasonable levels during the daytime, and quiet time and minimal lights are observed after dark. Children are most welcome here, but they must be accompanied by an adult at all times on the property to ensure their safety. No firearms allowed. Camping here needs to be self contained: take waste with you and leave no trace!
