Bear Point Cabin sits directly on the shore of Upper Lead Mountain Pond, surrounded by water and stunning mountain views. This off-grid sanctuary offers all the comforts you need for a relaxing, unplugged vacation in the heart of the wilderness. Start your day watching the sunrise over the water with a morning coffee, spend the afternoon swimming in the crystal-clear pond, or retreat to the screened-in porch to catch up on a good book. As evening falls, gather around the campfire to make s'mores while listening to the haunting song of the loons. The cabin provides a seamless blend of tradition and convenience, powered by both generator and solar energy with hot water and a flush toilet on-site. Whether you are looking for an ATV-friendly adventure or a quiet escape to nature, this is the definitive, authentic Maine cabin experience. The property is lakeside with extremely shallow water all around for about 100 yards from shore then it drops off making it great for kids. The cabin is comfortable but not large, the bedrooms are on the smaller side. The loft requires access by an attic stye ladder, and has a low ceiling. It is a classic Maine summer cabin. Bring your ATV's the cabin sits on a connector trail to the famous Downeast Sunrise Trail. include 5 additional gallons of gasoline for the generator. I also include a 5 gallon jug of drinking water and a case of bottled water. The sink water is from a shallow water well and is not potable.
