Vernon, Kentucky, nestled in the rolling foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. Home to the Renfro Valley Entertainment Center and the Renfro Valley Country Music Hall of Fame, the area offers a rich heritage of country music and history. Known throughout Kentucky as "real country music by real country folks," it's the perfect destination for a relaxing getaway. The campground is just 1.7 miles from Lake Linville, where you can enjoy swimming, fishing, boating, and other recreational activities. It also makes an ideal stop when traveling to or from Lexington, Louisville, or Cincinnati. Explore the hiking trails of Daniel Boone National Forest, tour local wineries, visit the Great Saltpetre Cave Preserve, or experience a private horse farm in Rockcastle County. The famous Ark Encounter in Williamstown is approximately 1.5 hours away and is one of Kentucky's top attractions. RV Sites Renfro Valley KOA Holiday offers both Pull-Thru and Back-In RV sites to accommodate rigs of all sizes. Choose from water and electric sites or full-hookup sites. Deluxe Patio Sites, Buddy Sites, and KOA Paw Pen Sites are also available upon request. Tent Sites Sleep under the stars at one of our spacious tent sites. Choose from water and electric sites or primitive, no-hookup tent sites for a more traditional camping experience. Campground Cabins For those who want to enjoy nature without giving up the comforts of home, we offer Deluxe Cabins, Camping Cabins, and a Deluxe Lodge. Deluxe Cabins feature a full bathroom and either a full or partial kitchen, while Camping Cabins provide a more traditional camping experience without a bathroom or kitchen. Extended Stays, Group Camping, Corporate Housing & Travel Nurse Stays Planning a longer visit? We offer campsites for extended stays, seasonal camping, large groups, corporate housing, and travel nurses. Campground Amenities There's no shortage of fun at Renfro Valley KOA Holiday. Throughout the season, we host special events, including Fourth of July Weekend and Halloween Weekends. Seasonal Information • Pool open: Mid-May through mid-September • Maximum Pull-Thru length: 75 feet Office Hours • Winter: 10 am–12 pm and 2 pm–4 pm daily • Peak Season: 8 am–6 pm daily; Fridays and Saturdays, 8 am–8 pm Hours are subject to change without notice. Please check the office door for current hours. Showers and laundry facilities are open 24/7 with an access code. Pool Hours 10 am–10 pm daily through mid-September. Rates All rates are based on 1–2 guests, one vehicle, and up to two friendly pets. All guests must register at the office to obtain a parking permit. Parking fees are $5 per person, $5 per day, and $5 per vehicle. Cancellation Policy Please review our cancellation policy before booking. • Reservations from May 1 through October 31 that include a Friday or Saturday night require full payment and are 100% non-refundable. • Dual Sports Weekend reservations require a three-night minimum stay, full payment, and are non-refundable. • Memorial Day, Fourth of July, and Labor Day weekends require a two-night minimum stay, full payment, and are non-refundable. This is a cashless KOA. Absolutely no cash is accepted.
