Our property is 15 minutes South, from I75, 10 minutes from any restaurant or publix. We are a 2 mile drive down a dirt road, through the state forest. We offer 2-3 acres of a choose your own spot camping area. Located within the Picayune Strand State Forest, full of peace and quiet, and plenty of birds. We have a facility building that runs off a generator for running water. With that, we have a washroom, that consists of a large shower, and 2 bathroom stalls. we have then propane heated hot water for a nice hot shower. The sites are very " free range". Nothing that is too designated, so you have a free choice of where to pitch your tent, or park your camper van, or your RV. Come and stay within the Evergaldes in Naples, of SWFL. A special private place like no other. You may have the place all to yourself, or share with others. It is not populated like other campgrounds. The property is a designated farm, and we do have chickens. Day time check-in is 100% recommended. Please be sure to contact me for any and all questions you may have!

The season is NOW For this wonderful experience. The cooler winter months are the best time of year for the Tree Top Bungalow. A camping experience, without all the work! **Please be sure to read the entire description, as this space is not your average stay, and not suited for everybody, considering our amenity limitations** limited electricity: we use a generator to run our well for water, and the generator runs our facility building and the electric for the upstairs room. The generator is not intended to run around the clock for power to the room. If you can’t manage without power around the clock- then book a hotel. We DO NOT HAVE: Wifi Television Or refrigeration The room is equipped with a Bluetti solar powered generator. This little power box is great for charging your devices. Our place in located on a 5 acre parcel within the Picayune Strand State Forest. This place is the perfect stay for the outdoorsy, nature lover in you. Our space is perfect for people who like to connect with nature, watch for shooting stars, listen to the birds, and let the crickets sing them to sleep. We like to consider this room a sort of “glamping" experience. You can have the feel of camping, without all the work that goes with it. The room is located on second story building, giving optimal view of the surrounding area! The room is completely PRIVATE, you will not share it at all. We offer a queen size mattress, sheets, towels, and your basic toiletries. The bottom half of the building is considered a utility room, it is NOT a secondary area that is rented. Our washroom/ bathroom is located in a separate building, our facility building. The facility building is a common area shared by others- if other guests are staying on the property. Note: Our property is also open on the Hipcamp tent camping platform that welcomes people to camp on the property. You may have the entire property to yourself, or there may be a few others as well. We are located down an unpaved road, in the middle of The Picayune Strand State Forest, 15 minutes from downtown Naples. We have the convenience of a super quiet and super easy to run generator that produces our electricity, and propane heated, hot running water.

    Generated from real Hipcamper reviews

This campsite offers a serene and secluded experience, perfect for those seeking a retreat from the busy world. The property is rich with wildlife, from chickens to baby alligators, making it a unique spot for nature lovers. However, be prepared for a bit of a journey down a dirt road to get there, and note that facilities are rustic, with some mentioning unclean bathrooms. Despite some minor drawbacks, many visitors appreciate the quiet atmosphere and the friendly, helpful hosts who even provide fresh produce.

Camped in a 28 ft travel trailer at Campsites of Naples Fl, Mar 2026.

    It was okay

First off 4 miles down dirt toad so if you are not comfortable on dirt i’d skip this one. Not alot of places to park as alot of construction equipment. Richard was nice and gave us some fruit and veggies. Met owner and he was nice. First place we had to sign a waiver to stay. Screened porch was nice but bathroom was disgusting. Not sure last time toilet was cleaned. Only stayed 1 night instead of 3 since no electric and it was hot. Great fruit stand on way into property.

I appreciate the feedback- I do state in the welcome email and as well as on-site at the property, that if the bathroom needs any attention to please let me know. I can't fix the problem, if I am not made aware of it. Also, we do have hard water at our property- so we do struggle with the rust color stain that you see on the photos of our bathroom facility. It is a multi-use property, so yes there would be visible equipment, but hardly so much that you really had a difficult time finding somewhere to park. At least you found a spot for a night. Thanks for staying- non the less. Happy Trails Dale.

I arrived very late (maybe 10pm) because I had a jam packed day visiting from IL but in the morning I was met with the friendliness everyone speaks highly of in previous reviews! I was able to take a peak at the property too before leaving and it was beautiful. I’d try and leave time to enjoy this property if you stay. I wish I had!
