Lake Louisa offers a captivating natural setting, ideal for campers seeking a mix of wilderness and tranquility. Guests often highlight the cleanliness of the park and the comfort of the tents, though some mention issues like broken zippers and rusty cooking equipment. The lack of air conditioning is a recurring concern, especially in the heat, yet the scenic beauty and seclusion provide a relaxing escape. Whether kayaking through water lilies or enjoying a quiet night under the stars, most visitors appreciate the overall experience despite a few drawbacks.

Doesn't recommend
We booked our tent and we left after being there for only 30 min to the state it was in. There were bugs all over the bed and pillows, black mold in the tarp and a wasp nest inside the tent. We have been trying to contact the reservation department but no response for the past 2 days. For anyone wanting to camp in Lake Lucia bring your own equipment so you can avoid this problem.

I loved the space. It was comfortable and thoughtful. We arrived bringing very little things with us for an impromptu weekend out for the first time “glamping”. Don’t forget the bug spray and lanterns! I liked that the port-a-potties were nearby and the regular bathroom is also an option down the road. This space is next to a pond so be aware of the wildlife near by (read alligators) and be smart.
