Welcome to the "Wild and Scenic Myakka River"! Our 20 acre ranch has everything from Longhorn cattle, to a white sand beach. We like to say our sand is like Siesta Key, except it's...in a swamp. Our property is not too far upstream from the Myakka State park, and parking is never a problem. ;-) We have a beautiful homestead, and you have the choice of a furnished camper with water and power hookups in our pasture, or 2 primative tent or RV spots on the edge of a beautiful stand of Live Oak trees and Sabal palms along the river. We have a porta potty on site that is regularly maintained. Bring your family, bring your dog, bring your friends.....and don't forget to bring a fishing pole!

Old oak canopy

RV/tent site · Sleeps 6 · Vehicles under 35 ft
This spot is nicely shaded under our ancient Oak canopy that is part of the Myakka River basin. This site is directly on the river, and is perfect for tent camping, or overlanders. This site is not suitable for large camper rigs. This site contains a fire ring and a picnic table. Old Oak Canopy is our most remote site. This site is directly on the river, and is a short walk from the porta potty and the common area, which is where the beach is located, along with additional picnic tables. All sites are located away from each other to provide a unique experience for our guests.

Sabal Palm Serenity is a beautiful spot, surrounded by palms. It has a fire pit on site. There is also access to the beautiful Myakka River, with a common area that is still very secluded. Fishing, kayakking, paddleboarding, and walkabouts make this area a very relaxing and fun place to visit. Come out and enjoy a serene stay at Costa Myakka!

Enjoy camping in the woods just a few minutes walk from the Myakka River. You'll have the opportunity to enjoy large Oaks, native wildlife, and lots of peace. Bring your dog, and a fishing pole! Note: This site is not directly on the river, but can accomodate both small and larger groups. You will have access to the common area, which is right along the river, and where the beach is.
