Our homestead property is 15 acres with trees and open pasture raising traditional farmstead animals in sheep, chickens, and ducks, and growing produce and flower gardens! You will be surrounded by sounds of the farm while being near local attractions, dining, and shopping. Property is conveniently located near Loveland, Johnstown, Berthoud, Fort Collins, and Greeley. Less than 15 minutes from The Ranch events center (and Blue Arena) which hosts the Larimer County Fair, concerts, sporting events, and more. Also near sports tournament sites such as Loveland Sports Park and Fort Collins Soccer Complex. Other attractions within driving distance such as Estes Park, Rocky Mountain National Park, Lake Loveland, and Boyd Lake State Park provide many opportunities for fishing, hiking, kayaking, and more! No pets are allowed due to the farm animal surroundings and inside maintenance of the tent and site. Feel free to reach out to us for special requests regarding pets and we will let you know! SEASONAL NOTES: The temperatures and weather conditions can vary greatly throughout the year. Please plan accordingly and see notes below for seasonal tips. Average high/low temperatures (Fahrenheit): January 44/16 February 44/17 March 57/27 April 62/34 May 68/42 June 84/53 July 88/59 August 86/56 September 79/48 October 64/35 November 52/24 December 42/16 WINTER: 1) Drinking water is provided year-round, whether in a cooler or at the outhouse. Guests have stayed safe and dry; see reviews for comments. 2) Moth season is May/June and lasts a few weeks. Not harmful, but can hide and surprise us at times. We try to help by providing moth traps and bug zapper lights. SUMMER: 1) We provide a small battery-powered fan; consider bringing an extra for high heat. 2) The daylight is long, the sunrises and sunsets are long and beautiful. AUTUMN/FALL: 1) A very captivating season for camping. As with Spring, prepare for weather variety. 2) Generally calm, snow can come early.Welcome to our glampsite on the farm homestead! Glamping canvas tent site set up with everything you need for a relaxing getaway! Camp in a well-maintained homestead farm setting on a raised deck with beautiful views. Peaceful sunrises in the morning, sounds and surroundings of a family farm during the day, photo-worthy sunsets in the evening, stars at night. Enjoy a private outhouse, fire pit, picnic area with grill, and patio seating in peaceful surroundings. (NOTE: FYI, some older pictures show a nearby pond that is no longer in service, though there is a seasonal irrigation water creek nearby.) PLEASE NOTE: free range chickens and farm cats are usually around, so you may reconsider if you have allergies, and if you plan to prepare food outdoors then you will want to be attentive so that you're not sharing with them on accident! Owner/resident lives onsite in a home close to the tent area. Tent area has separate access and a privacy fence. Located 45-60 minutes from Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park, and 10 minutes from many local shopping/dining options. We are working toward regenerative agriculture. You will see chickens, cows, ducks, sheep, pigs, and cats all doing their farm work alongside wildlife birds and other sounds of a farm. The tent is beautifully arranged for 2 guests, with a queen size bed, plates, utensils, and cookware for two. Please contact us if you have any questions about staying with children or extra guests as we may be able to accommodate special requests. There is road noise about a 1/4 mile away, mostly during the day and some at night, so if you want something really secluded, you will find better options out there. Most of our guests have said they were not bothered by that noise, but everyone is different. Absolutely loved our stay on the farm!! Everything we could’ve needed was provided and it was a very peaceful weekend getaway. Loved all the visits from the chickens and cats!!

Beautiful setting and comfortable accommodations. Joshua made it easy to enjoy the setting. Large canvas tent, deck, picnic table, hammock, fire pit, old trees and large grassy area- oh and an occasional chicken or cat may make an appearance.

We LOVED this stay!! A perfect glamping stay. Host replied fast and was so helpful, it was tucked away so there was privacy from their home, friendly cats and chickens came to visit. We would 100% come back again!

The campsite was really peaceful and we loved hanging out with the kitty. The bed was super comfortable and the camp was really neat, kind of halfway between camping and getting a hotel room.

My husband and I booked this campsite for just one night while visiting Denver, and the only unfortunate thing is we wish we could have stayed here longer!! First of all, the entire place is well-kept, it’s pretty clean, there were a few wonderful and thoughtful touches like free firewood for us to use, drinkable water, dishes, outpost in pristine condition. On top of that Joshua has been super responsive and accommodating, and even let us check-out an hour later since we arrived super late the first day. In the morning, as many other reviewers pointed out, there was definitely a lot of commotion like wild birds chirping, neighborhood kids playing, that could have kept up us awake BUT after reading the reviews, we brought EAR PLUGS and a SLEEPING MASK, and had the best sleep ever, fresh air, cool breeze, warm bed, ahhh. At around 10am once we woke up, we noticed a few chickens outside our tent and a sweet little kitty cat, this was honestly the cherry on top, because all of the animals were super friendly and all they wanted was a bit of love! We had breakfast, shared a little bit of it with our new companions and were on our way back home. The place was so so beautiful and we hope one day we can be back. If you are someone who doesn’t love animals and who wants to be somewhere super remote, this place is not for you, for everyone else, this place is lovely! 😊

A wonderful cozy get-away!

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay. The directions were easy to follow and the location felt like we were comfortably far away enough from the highway. The tent is comfortable and warm - it rained the entire evening and we didn't feel a drop while inside. We particularly enjoyed the wood-burning stove, which was easy to use and provided the cozy 'shelter from the storm' sensation we were looking for. Being able to use it as a flat-top stove for warming up dinner was an excellent amenity. Overall, nothing but positive things to say about this stay!

This was the best place to have a wonderful and peaceful getaway! i have never felt more comfortable and was never bored by the amount of animals that accompany you through your stay! We had the pleasure of hanging out with Arnold and his family of kittens and it was cuteness overload! there are also plenty of places near by like Carter Lake and Estes Park :) I chose this place as a surprise for my partners birthday and we had a blast it was hard for us to leave such a beautiful scenic place with such cuddly cats. 10/10 would come back again! and 110% remember this place! they provide almost everything for you so your trip will be a breeze! Thank you so much to the family who hosted us💕

A Horrible Day!

Only true animal lover should go!! It was overwhelming dealing with both cats and chickens. While I was trying to cook dinner, the cats and chickens swarmed around, stealing food ingredients, and then, while I was sleeping, the cats acted like it was their home, sneeking into the tent and sleeping next to me. They even casually jumped onto the bed I was sleeping in. It was the worst day. I couldn't eat properly or sleep well becuase I was constantly worried about the cats & chickens.

What a winner! Great spot. Beautiful old trees, grassy yard, fire pit, hammock/ a big canvas tent w/ deck and comfy chairs. Great bed/bedding. All cooking essentials are available for your meals. Quiet & private w/ an occasional visit from a free range chicken or two. Owners were available for any Q’s/issues. Lovely sunsets looking towards mountains and valley. I’ll be back! Getaway close to home

We've recently started camping with a teardrop but thought it would be a nice change to give "glamping" a go. The tent was cozy and the bed comfy. Lots of wood to make a fire, either outdoors in the firepit or in the stove if it got chilly. Cute outhouse with composting toilet (very clean). Came equipped with basic cooking stuff and dishes, etc. Even though it is near the highway, you feel like you have been dropped into nature. Did not take advantage of the breakfast offering, but was entertained by the chickens and kitties. Perfect way to turn off for a weekend.

My daughter and I had a wonderful time in this cozy glampsite! The tent is delightful, the bed is super comfortable, and we had everything we needed to cook meals and stay warm. We loved exploring the property, and especially enjoyed meeting the friendly barn cats. Highly recommended for a lovely time away!

We had a nice stay! The tent was lovely and the views were incredible - if you stay here, definitely watch the sunrise if you’re able. We were very comfortable and both the tent and outhouse were very well maintained. Wish we could’ve stayed longer but were unfortunately in a rush.

Josh and Molly were fantastic hosts, we had a really incredible time together. This is a great place for families or for father/son retreats. My son really enjoyed playing with the kids, cats and chickens. The location was also great being just off of Interstate 25 and the view of the mountains is a huge drawl for us. We will definitely be there again in the future!

We absolutely loved our stay! It was so peaceful and magical. Very considerably equipped with items for bonfire, cooking, hammock etc. Everything we needed was supplied! Found the info booklet very helpful. We had tons of privacy. We wished we could’ve stayed longer and gotten to know the hosts more :)

Farm stay for six! - near Loveland
We (family of five) stayed at the trailer this summer. We had a great time! Our three kids loved all the farm animals. We had a great time at Rocky Mountain Park and came home to a cozy space to hang out as a family.

Amazing camp site on the land of an active farm. Very spacious with lots of great amenities and thoughtfulness that went into the camp setup. We loved seeing the sheep, chickens, and cow. Also, the farm cats that visited us were adorable. The host, Joshua, was amazing and very communicative.

Excellent site, easy to find, and provided us with the retreat we were looking for. The tent experience was accented by some really great appointments and amenities - the outhouse especially stood out….the carpentry was custom and reflected superb craftsmanship!

When we were driving away we were already talking about when we could go back! Beautiful setting, absolutely spotless bathroom, and the hosts thought of everything you could need! The location is also great because you are so close to town if you want to grab anything, but you feel like you are staying in the woods while you’re there. The irrigation ditch is actually very beautiful and peaceful to listen to. And the hosts are so easy to communicate with. Definitely recommend this place!

I stayed at the homestead with one other girl. We had an amazing experience. The tent is very clean and the surrounding area is peaceful. We could hear the occasional car on the road at night, however it was mostly drowned out by the sound of creek flowing close by. The hosts of the property were extremely kind and offered some special opportunities once we were there (highly recommend the breakfast!) Loveland was close by and convenient for dinner every night. We definitely recommend staying here.
