We are a family-owned 100-acre ranch in the Roaring Fork Valley. We offer four units. Our L’il pond yurt, the “Out of Africa” tent, the “Stargazer” family tent, and our “Cozy Cowgirl” cabin. All of our these are furnished in rustic chic. We are your “Base Glamp” for exploring Maroon Bells, Hanging Lake, the Carbondale Creative District, Redstone Castle, and hot springs galore. When you are on the ranch you are far from the crowds and are able to kiss our friendly Alpacas, ride our horses, learn about Zebus, and collect eggs from our chickens. We have wonderful trails through the woods onto open lands for hiking. Our guests love to take a farm tour,or experience Alpaca Yoga and then head out for all of the adventures in the valley. After your big day you can take a hot shower in our luxurious bathroom tent, come to the barn and chat with other guests and then grill some of our farm-raised pork or beef and enjoy a glass of wine and the awesome sunset colors on Mt. Sopris.

Every detail tells a story—family heirlooms, handpicked antiques, and the unmistakable peace that fills the room when you slow down and listen. Though it feels far from it all, the ranch is just 15 minutes from Carbondale and 45 from the high mountain wonders of Aspen, Maroon Bells, and healing hot springs.

THE STAR GAZER TENT - is the perfect tent to enjoy with family and friends. The tent can host up to 6 people; 2 guests can sleep in a comfy king linen bed and 4 others can enjoy an additional 4 twin beds. Wake up to the sound of the rooster and collect eggs in the morning while enjoying your French Press coffee on the covered deck. In the evening enjoy grilling meats from the farm on the propane grill and later sit back and STARGAZE on the deck around a private gas fire. Enjoy the peace and solitude as you look over the ranch seeing horses in the fields. Dogs are welcomed max 2 additional cost per dog per day.

Inside, you’ll find a cozy queen bed, a daybed with two twin mattresses, a comfortable couch, and a family-style dining area—all the space and comfort you need to rest and recharge.
The yurt comes stocked with all kitchen utensils, and outside, you’ll have access to a propane grill—perfect for slow breakfasts or sunset dinners under the stars.
Just a short walk from the yurt is a separate, shared bathhouse that includes a hot shower, porcelain sink, and kitchen sink. The space is shared with only one other tent, so you’ll still enjoy a sense of privacy and peace.
