We had an incredible stay at The Home of the Zin Man! The property is gorgeous, and the RV sites are spacious with plenty of privacy. Monica and her family are exceptional hosts, incredibly welcoming, helpful, and flexible if something unexpected pops up.
Each evening, they’d drop by our campfire to share tips on local hiking trails and swimming spots or just chat. They're such genuine, friendly people to have one-on-one conversations with. Their wine was fantastic. I especially loved the Chardonnay, while my husband and friends raved about the Barbera and the Zinfandel.

We were welcomed so warmly—our host even offered us a glass of wine and a cheese board. We’ve camped in many places, but never felt so comfortable and at home. The wine was excellent, and the whole experience felt thoughtful and personal. We can’t wait to come back and highly recommend it.

Property owners were super friendly. Lots of fire wood. Lobby was open all day, could grab bottles and leave a tab on a note card. Told us of some cool shooting and fishing spots nearby.

Very cool place to camp! Spacious and the fire pit works great. Owners are also very kind. Peaceful at night.
The host was super friendly and communicative the whole time. The winery in itself feels like a wholesome family run operation. The bathrooms were clean and well maintained. The campsite itself had alot of sun exposure, but the host was super helpful on where to put the tent to avoid the peak sun. The tasting room was super cute and comfortable with lots of little trinkets you could buy to take home along with an amazing selection of wine. I can't wait to come back again, especially when it's a little cooler.

We really enjoyed camping at this property. We had the whole place to ourselves which was great, and the owners were very friendly and even gave us a free bottle of wine. We really enjoyed the wine tasting and using their property. They provided electricity and water hookups, and the property is only about 10 minutes from great access to the consumers river and swimming holes. We would come back here again!

While not a traditional camping experience, I had a truly amazing time. The camp/tent areas are literally across a dirt road from an open/common area for winery guests. Many campers may wish for a more private or wilderness location, but I loved it. The hosts were amazingly generous, maybe because it was just us there for the weekend, but we were given a free wine tasting, offered free wood for our fire, and they gave us a tour of the winery and the barrels. They met every need we had and were very gracious. The winery was undergoing construction/renovation work at the time but the bathrooms were available and clean. We'll probably be coming back again this summer, if only to sit and have some wine before retiring to a campfire.
We loved camping out here, it was peaceful and serene. Firepit and picnic table provided. Clean flushing toilets at the winery, a min walk away. We had the wine tasting & it was amazing, we bought a couple bottles to enjoy post-tasting. There's also a plot of green grass with tree coverage, a small creek, and 3 picnic tables between the campsites and the winery for separation, it was a lifesaver during the hot July weather. The hosts and staff were friendly and easy to talk to. Good company, good conversations, and good wine. We will definitely be back!
I'd recommend this spot to anyone. Cool owners too

Great place for a quick stay. Monika was super sweet and friendly, and very accommodating. We reserved a site in full sun, unbeknownst to us, and she moved us to a spot with shade and offered the use of water (did not use) and electricity (did use) even though we had not requested it. The venue is nice, and she has great ideas for improvements as she only recently took ownership. The on-site tasting room is a bonus. While the camp area feels secluded, there are neighbors in such close proximity that you can hear them talking when they are outdoors. Not a bad thing, just something to be aware of. We enjoyed our two-night stay and will definitely return the next time we are in the area.

The location was great and the hosts were very friendly. The site looked like the pictures. However, at no fault of the hosts the power went out for most of the first day we were there, they did communicate that day what they knew about when the power would come back on. They also provided a nice bottle of wine, which was great! Once the power was restored, the power hookup for our site did not work. We let them know that it wasn’t working and it seemed they tried to come up with a solution but it was never fixed and we did not have hookups for the remainder of the time we were there. There was no communication about this from the hosts so we finally gave up on having power. This was frustrating, but the most frustrating part was the bathrooms stopped flushing and were clogged and flooded , so there was no bathroom access. We had to drive to a local park to use the bathrooms there. Again there was no communication about any attempts to fix the bathrooms or the power hookup situation on site. We are resilient so we made do, but we were planning on having hookups and power so we prepared for our trip with that in mind. It was obviously less than ideal to end up without those and posed some obvious challenges that we had to deal with each day. The trash near our campsite was also completely full when we arrived and was never emptied. We stayed the whole time simply because we wanted to enjoy our weekend. It would be nice to be reimbursed in some way for all the trouble.
We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend at Zin Man's winery! The staff were friendly and helpful, the site was quiet, and the location was great for day trips out to some of the surrounding areas (Sly Park Rec, Ice House Reservoir, etc.). We will definitely stay again when we are back in the area.

What a great place! Hosts Monica and Hedi are super friendly and welcoming. They went above and beyond expectations while I was there for a multi-night stay. One evening when I realized that the ice in my cooler had just about melted and I really didn't want to pull up camp and go the store, I asked if they happened to have some ice and shortly after, voilà, they brought me a full bag of ice. The grounds of the winery are lovely and in a beautiful location. Good wine. Good company. Good vibes. You can't ask for more. Thanks Monica and Hedi! I'll definitely be back in the future.
Amazing campsite for a quiet escapade. The hosts went above and beyond to make sure we had a pleasant stay. Our kids loved playing with the hosts grandkids and exploring the area. FYI the RV spots are on a grass field and they are not very level, so plan accordingly.
Nice people, welcoming environment, very accommodating, peaceful atmosphere, large area…Nice set up! I was able to connect water and electricity to my camper which is awesome. Didn’t get around to tasting the wine, but I look forward to it next time. my daughter and I enjoyed visiting Zin Man, well worth it. No issues whatsoever, would recommend it to anyone, families included.

We arrived to our site and were welcomed by Hailey. We wine tasted and yum we bought 2 bottles. Amazing 2 nights camping in a peaceful environment with the sound of the creek and the frogs. Monika went above and beyond her energy was contagious. A Hip Camp success!

I want this place to stay a hidden gem so bad because it’s new and nobody knows about it yet but I also want to see these amazing ladies be a successful and thriving hipcamp so I’m going to leave an honest review.
This spot is incredible. It’s quiet and peaceful and absolutely gorgeous. They run water and power out to the site for you. There’s campfire rings and picnic tables and a huge grassy area for kids or dogs to play on.
Monika the host is wonderful. She’s hospital and welcoming and just an all around wonderful human. She helped me through some booking issues I was having and made sure that the set up worked for my trailer.
The gift shop has some amazing items. They provide carafes of delicious cold water. Monika even brought me a basket of fresh strawberries!!! 🥹
If you’re into wine they have wine tasting as well as some other cool services they offer.
I can’t wait to go back. It really is just the perfect little getaway spot.

ZinMan Winery is such a hidden gem in FairPlay! From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere felt welcoming and relaxed. The tasting room has that perfect blend of rustic charm and laid-back elegance, and the staff made us feel right at home.
You can tell there’s real passion behind every bottle of wine. Each pour was thoughtfully explained, and we never felt rushed. It felt more like visiting friends than just a wine tasting.
If you’re in the area and love great wine with a warm, personal touch, ZinMan is a must-stop. We’ll definitely be back!
