Learn more about this land: A beautiful spot in a vineyard with peaceful rolling hills with tons of privacy in Paso Robles Wine Country. We offer a level spot beside a barn surrounded by apple trees and acres of vineyard. There is a small fire pit. A perfect location for outdoor activities and wine tasting around Paso Robles Wine Country, secluded and surrounded by nature. Live working vineyard, may experience vineyard operations from time to time. FALL DISCLOSURE: Two nights of harvesting will happen between late September and late October, but unlikely disturb your stay (though we cannot not guarantee as we are an operating vineyard). It's kinda cool to watch if you happen to be here during our harvesting of wine grapes. If desired, contact us a few days before your scheduled stay to get the harvesting schedule. Our tasting room is currently closed for daily tasting, the upper buildings on the property may be rented out for private parties and overnight stays. These buildings are approximately 300 yards from the hip camp location and are not in direct few of our Hip Camp site. If you are interested in renting out the upper buildings, please inquire with host. WINERIES As of now Central Coast wineries are requiring tasting appointments by reservation under California law as of 2020. Weekend reservations are highly recommended. Weekday reservations can usually be made day of. Visit PASOWINE.com to tailor your tasting experience in Paso Robles - you can select "Wineries" and then by "Amenity" (such as picnic spots, pet friendly, tasting fees, etc.) Visit pleasantvalleywinetrail.com for wineries just around the corner from our Hip Camp. OUTDOOR ACTIVITES Many outdoor adventures await within an hour drive. Exploring small towns, biking in the rolling hills of Paso Robles, hiking trails in San Luis Obispo and many beautiful beaches are less than 45 minutes from our camp. Visit SLOCAL.com Golf - Hunter Ranch Golf Course and Links Golf course within a 10 minute drive. Family Fun - The Ravine Waterpark is a 10 minute drive from our site. Lake Nacimiento - 35 minute drive Mission San Miguel - 12 minute drive DINING Downtown Paso Robles has a variety of dining options from casual Mexican restaurants and pubs, French and Italian fine dining and everything in between. What a beautiful, peaceful spot! My husband and I spent Memorial Day weekend here. It could not have more perfect. So close to so many wineries! We would love to revisit in the future:)

Overall great experience as we were incredibly secluded from all others and sounds. PROS - secluded - vineyard views - designated area for set up near barns - large (larger than 6 ft) picnic table and fire pit CONS - disclaimer apparently mentions noise from working in vineyard but I must have missed this. We were awoken at midnight with a tractor going through the vineyard that lasted for nearly 30 minutes. Thankfully wasn’t the case on our second night. - not entirely as responsive as I’d like. I asked about wine tasting at the site and nearby - no response - directions were clear but sign were not the same as given.

Magical place!

Very private, unique and magical place with an amazing view! We decided really last minute and Delaney answered us super quickly & in less than one hour we were at the vineyard! Really recommend it!

We tent camped at Delaney’s property and had a blast. The lot is secluded and we were surrounded by a flourishing vineyard and a million stars at night. Definitely coming back!

I loved tent camping on Delaney and Ali’s land. It was easy to find and appeared just as described. There was a wedding party going on at a nearby vineyard. The dj stopped at 10p and then the site was peaceful all night. Would go back.

We tent camped, and it was a very beautiful spot surrounded by a vineyard. Totally private! Had a little campfire. Everything went as planned. The only thing to be made aware of is that there is no toilet or bathroom at the tenting area. There is one further away that could be access. This was a bit confusing in the listing but is something to clarify with host, if you need one.

A peaceful, picturesque and enjoyable location within 15 mins of downtown Paso Robles. There were a few rabbits, colorful beetles and many birdsongs that you could hear nestled near the vineyard’s grapes. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.

Peaceful, flat, and in a vineyard!

The spot was great, wide open, very peaceful. We stayed two nights and only saw one other human being for about 5 seconds, on a tractor. The directions were good, the location was close enough to Paso Robles for us, about 15 minutes. The actual site had a nice big picnic table and a fire pit, and was very flat which makes life easier for RV folks like us.

Beautiful setting and easy to find. It rained for our entire stay so we did t really get to enjoy the beauty but it would be an awesome site in nice weather.

Expected a quiet site in a vineyard

Was disappointed when the live {LOUD] Mariachi band started up... Couldn't find another hipcamp / RV park for the night, so just left for the afternoon and returned around 10p. I checked the listing and they do indication the possibility of parties, so just be aware....

Beautiful, quiet vineyard location

We stayed at this property twice so far and absolutely loved it! It is quiet with beautiful vineyard views. There’s a picnic table and fire pit and we set up camp chairs to watch sunset both nights. We really enjoyed strolling the grounds with our pups too! There currently isn’t a bathroom but that’s noted in the listed. Overall, we had great stays and hope to stay here again soon. Thanks for sharing your beautiful property with us!

Camping in the Vineyard

We loved camping here. The site is private, quiet, peaceful, well maintained and level. A fire pit and picnic beach are provided. (As other reviewers mentioned, currently the bathrooms are out of order. As we are self contained, it was not a problem for us.) Great location, just far enough away from the hustle and bustle. We enjoyed our visit very much.

The property was very nice with lots of wildlife and Delaney helped us find the site when the sign out front did not match the directions. But, unfortunately, the bathrooms have been out of order due to well problems even though that is not reflected in the description or emails, and the fire pit could not be used because it did not have drainage and was full of rain water. It was a little overpriced for just a parking space.

Such a lovely quiet spot! We arrived late as the map directions on the hip camp site were wrong but the directions Delaney sent were right! Make sure to follow the directions in the text! The bathroom was clean, the site perfectly level for our Westy camper van. And the stars were amazing!

Pleasant trip to Pleasant Valley

We had a lovely stay here and hope to return. The setting is serene. The bathrooms were very clean. We used the sturdy fire pit and picnic table a bunch and it made for a very comfortable stay. We walked to tasting rooms nearby and enjoyed the Pleasant Valley wine region. Don’t forget to look up! You may see shooting stars, owls, or hawks depending on the time of day!

Beautiful and secluded. We loved it! My kids rode their bikes, picked apples, and enjoyed grapes straight from the vine. The views and sunset were amazing. The host came by to check in which was very kind. We felt free and yet taken care of.

Just wonderful!

Quite a wonderful spot on the edge of a winery. Had views of apple trees, vines and horses. The site was very private and it had everything we needed. Nice fire pit, too. Hosts were responsive and nice. We'd definitely stay again.

Gorgeous Spot!

Beautiful secluded spot in nature; the lot was small gravel but not windy—stakes in the tent were not necessary. Do not use the GPS coordinates to get there—the address is the best option. The stars were amazing and only 20 min to town, best winery experience was actually within walking distance of this campsite (at Tackitt Family Winery). Delaney was super helpful as well as the process went on Hipcamp. Would absolutely stay again.

Great, flat spot at the back of the vineyard with small trees bordering the spot and the flush toilet nearby (appreciate this!). The fire pit was a bonus. Loved waking up in the morning and walking along the vineyard, hearing the neighboring roosters and watching the 2 beautiful horses behind the property. A little difficult to see the turn in to the property from the road, especially at night but we managed. A light there would be helpful. Thanks Delaney!

Great Stay in the Vines!

This is the perfect country camp spot if you want to enjoy Paso Robles or the wineries and have your own place to come back to under the stars with nobody else around. Pretty cool to sleep in the vines!!! Bathroom was clean with running toilet and sink, no electricity/warm water/drinking water so just plan ahead (we didn’t need any of those things). Perfect spot, we will be back!

Easy Wine Country Camping

Great place. Facilities are very nice and campsite is well maintained. No other campers near by. If you are expecting a ‘wilderness’ experience this is not a good option but if you want a chill place to car camp with no one around and do wine tasting, it’s perfect.
