Spectacular stay in the vineyard
Great spot if you are self sufficient. My son and I were on a three week road trip, sleeping in our minivan with everything that we need, so Ashley's spot was perfect. The camp site is nestled among the vineyards!
To be clear, you are near a road that is used for commuting, you will hear traffic, but it's not stop and go and it's not constant. It's people heading to work in town or heading to work out in the vineyards.
We arrived in August, and the temps were high, thankfully we have USB powered fans which made the difference.
The sunsets & sunrise's were spectacular.
Protips;
park your vehicle so the table is in shade in the morning. It gets sunny and hot,
Stop by the VP station in town for fuel, amazing breakfast burritos (except on Sunday's) in which case you can cross the street to the Paso Robles Cafe. At night visit the Downtown City Park, its well lit, beautiful and an amazing cross section of Paso Robles, the playground is pretty awesome.
Stop at Albertsons and get a 2 gallon jug of water, the self dispensing type, then you will have water on your picnic bench for cooking and washing hands.
