Bare All Retreat offers a unique camping experience surrounded by animals and nature. While many guests appreciate the friendly hosts and the chance to interact with free-range animals like horses, goats, and cows, others have raised safety concerns, such as encounters with a biting hog. The location is praised for its beautiful scenery, including a flowing creek, although some find the proximity to the road and lack of cell service challenging. This campsite is ideal for those who enjoy rustic settings and animal encounters, but potential visitors should be mindful of the site's open layout and animal presence.

If you’re looking for a place to unplug, relax, and make some amazing family memories, Bare All Retreat is IT! Our family of 8, ranging from 6 months to 52 years old, had the absolute BEST time. The property is beautiful, peaceful, and full of so much life. We got to see horses, pigs, goats, Highland cows, baby chickens, and the sweetest baby horses—which were definitely my favorite! 🐴❤️ There was plenty of space for our two tents, three cars, and a trailer, and we never felt crowded. We also had space to set up corn hole and can jam. Our spot was huge! At night, listening to the creek flowing was one of those simple things that made the whole experience feel extra special and peaceful. Corey and his family were so friendly and welcoming. Their kids played with our kids, showed our kiddos how to hold baby chicks. And even gave us carrots from their garden. You can tell they truly care about their. If you need Wi-Fi, you can get a connection near the volleyball courts, which was a nice little bonus. I honestly could go on and on about how much we loved this place. It was the perfect family getaway, and we will absolutely be back! Thank you, Corey and Alexis for opening up your beautiful property and sharing it with us. We made some wonderful memories that we’ll be talking about for a long time! ❤️ I didn’t even want to say this until I was long gone because I am a bug magnet, but I came home with zero bites! Extra bonus!

During our stay, there were several animals roaming freely around the property, including hog that wandered through areas used by guests. As we were getting ready to leave, one of the hog bit me on the knee. As a result, I had to get a tetanus shot and purchase medication to prevent an infection. What made the situation even worse was that the host was informed about what happened and simply stopped responding. No apology, no assistance, and no accountability. I am seriously concerned about the safety of future guests. If an animal was capable of biting an adult, it could also pose a risk to children visiting the property. No one expects to end a camping trip injured, facing unexpected medical expenses, and receiving no support from the host after an incident like this. If they cannot control their animals or respond appropriately when someone is injured on their property, they should not be hosting guests. Please be cautious before booking this place.

We’re sorry you were injured and take guest safety seriously. When we were notified, we immediately came down with a first-aid kit, cleaned the wound, and provided additional supplies. At check-in, guests are clearly instructed not to feed or touch the animals. When we arrived, the guest told us she had been feeding the pig, and the bite occurred after she stopped feeding it. Our animals are part of a working ranch, which is why following these rules is especially important. We’re always happy to help our guests, but we cannot accept responsibility for an incident resulting from disregarding the property’s animal-safety rules.
