Enjoy your stay in a treehouse in our cedar forest. There are multiple trails surrounding the treehouse, including a pond where you can feed the fish. Watch the bees gather pollen to make our own honey. We also have lots of farm cats and kittens. You’re welcome to enjoy our forest and enjoy nature to its fullest. Tree house can be accessed by vehicle most of the year. We are situated beside a organic dairy farm, so farm animals may be visible.

This unique tree house has two bunk beds and two single mattress.( Murphy Bed). You can drive right to the tree house with your vehicle . Your welcome to stay in the winter, but if it snows too much you might have to walk a little bit to get into the treehouse. We offer many different types of walking trails. During the spring, summer and fall season you can enjoy feeding our fish and watch our bees make some delicious honey. We are located at Cedarfox Farm. You must provide your own linens, bedding and pillows and towels and toiletries, drinking water and cooking supplies. Generator are welcome. Your welcome to set up tents at a cost of $20/pp/ night Treehouse only sleep 4 people. If you enjoy Rough Camping, we have a spot for you. If you have friend that enjoy rough camping we can fit two campers at the same area. We don't want different people at the same time. Please let us know advance and we will make arrangements and payment. Your welcome to tent or if you have a small RV.....this site is for you. Enjoy nature with many wood trails and laneway trails throughout our farm. Your welcome to feed our cat fish in the pond. Enjoy our honeybees, but don't get too close.

The Heart of the Woods Treehouse

What a beautiful spot! It was rustic and cozy, with everything you need to make lifelong memories of a fun experience. I brought along my two young sons and we all had the best time. Of course, we brought extra warm sleeping bags to keep warm, with extra socks and hoodie sweaters, but we knew to be prepared at this time of year. The other thing we expected at this time of year was the swarm of mosquitos. We brought along two Thermacells that worked great, had lots of bug spray with us, brought a battery operated electric bug zapper to get rid of any mosquitos that joined us in the treehouse and brought a hanging bug screen to cover all of our chairs so we could enjoy sitting outdoors without any bugs getting us. I would recommend the same to anyone visiting in May. The joys of being outdoors! Haha. Our experience here was great. From all of the added amenities, to the beauty of the structure, along with the luxury porta-potty, you can’t go wrong! Side note: for an added fun experience, check out Rockin Rhonda’s Diner only 10 minutes away in Avonmore, for ice cream or a bite to eat. The locals are so friendly!

The Heart of the Woods Treehouse

It was a great experience. Everything shown in the pictures was same and had all the things needed to stay there . Due to heavy snow and winter its not good idea to go there in winters as the place do not have internal heating everything else was amazing . The owner chat support was also great .

The Heart of the Woods Treehouse

The Treehouse at Cedar Fox Farm is a charming and unique getaway, perfect for a couple or a family of four. While the accommodations are simple, the treehouse offers everything you need for a cozy and rustic stay. The hosts were incredibly sweet and welcoming, even gifting us a jar of their delicious homemade honey. We loved feeding the catfish at the beautiful pond and exploring the property’s beehives and playing with the friendly kittens. With plenty of walking trails through the expansive cedar forest, there’s no shortage of nature to enjoy. The treehouse feels wonderfully private, making it an ideal spot to unplug and relax.

Camping in the wooden cabin

The Heart of the Woods Treehouse

I enjoyed staying at Valerie's and Stephen's land. The camping site was very clean. They came in person and welcomed me and we talked for a bit, lovely people. There is a fishing pond you can feed the catfish and a forest trail you can take around the farmlands. The cabin is nicely built but there are ways for mosquitoes to come in so I would recommend having a sleeping bag. They brought me mosquito-repellent devices also. Would highly recommend it!
