Just outside Blackville Village limits, far enough away to have all the nature you need but close enough to pop into the village for ice cream or drinks. We spot Bald Eagles, Geese, Ducks and Deer right in our backyard. And if that isn't enough we have a organic family farm so you can visit with chickens, pigs and cows.
Relax in the wood fire sauna and shower off in nature in the fun outdoor shower.
We have several groomed trails to hike, bike, snowshoe, and cross country ski down. A stocked pond to fish in, take out our little boat for a float or just stroll about and watch our resident beaver swimming around.
Town is a five minute drive and you will find a grocery store, ice cream stand, bank, gas station(with nb liquour) and even an awesome thrift shop just one town over in Renous. Venture around the village and you will find horseback riding, river tubing, bridge jumping into the Dungarvon River, and boating on the Miramichi with world class salmon fishing. The city of Miramichi is about a 30 minute drive and has lots of museums and fun things to do.

Our farm has a separate access (private service road) to lead you down to a couple separate sites. There, you can park and put up a tent or trailer in different parts of the property.
There is a small Apple orchard as the first site, then another clearing a bit further, which is more of a wooded site. There is dense forest, and a small river if you continue down the service road.
This site is Especially ideal for ATV/Off-road - as you can take your ATV to the river for fishing or swimming.

Property is right on the road but there is a long dirt driveway the length of the property that allows you to get back away from the road. The vegetation was a bit overgrown and dry when we stayed so we didn’t drive all the way back but there is a nice flat field area in the back that would be a nice spot to park for the night.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Ocean River RV Park - has been about 10 years since we were there last, and the new ownership have really made some great improvements! Chris and Almut were very welcoming and professional, and we were to happy to see that they now sell ice cream and beer in their clubhouse! The washrooms were clean and modern, the tent campsites were nicely spaced apart and well treed, with patches of blueberries dotted around the place. Really loved walking along the beach running along the Tabusintac river, and they have canoe and kayak rentals available, which we will definitely do next time we're there!

Evan is building a great little campground. We were very happy with our stay! We really loved the fact that there was rental trailers there so that our friends could camp with us for the weekend. They had a lot of toys available for kids, which was great for our group. The sites were very clean and nice and level! The firepits were a really nice size too! Evan and his family were very nice and he checked in on us a couple times just to make sure we had everything we needed. Overall great experience and great weekend! We will be back for sure!

The whole experience was really over the top wonderful. I arrived at 8:30 pm and the openers were there to meet me and welcoming me to their camp site. Registration was just a couple of minutes and was personally shown to my bunkie and introduced to its features. Excellent experience and wow what a good nights sleep in that exceptional queen bed.

When to go
The ideal time to visit Boishébert and Beaubears Island Shipbuilding National Historic Sites is during the summer months when the Interpretation Centre is open and the full suite of tours and programs are available. Winter visits offer a quieter experience, but services are limited.
