Take the afternoon to paddle down the Bayou Macon, a cool 6.5 mile trail that cruises through the woods of the Deep South. Great for avid kayakers, perfect for rowing newbies. If you want to see the Bayou by foot, walk the nature trail, or just kick back on your private deck at one of the reservable cabins or lodges and take in the views. Keep your radar on the water long enough and you’ll see white pelicans, egrets, and storks!
