Welcome! We want to note on the front hand that if you decide to stay with us you will be staying in a pasture behind a gate. This is especially important if you are tent camping, because your things will be safe while you explore Hot Springs and surrounding areas unlike a State Park or regular campground! Our land is home to a plethora of animals that you can visit with or just watch during your stay. Depending on the time of year and where we are at in our pasture rotation will dictate where the horses and most of the cattle herd are at. If you message me I can let you know! Our goats and a couple of our cows are at the end of the road on the right! The animals you can see are our cattle (most of their names are on their ear tags), horses, goats (working on getting collars with names), Pickles the mini donkey (he’s with the cows), and chickens (when they go out to free range). We also have a stocked pond that you can bring your fishing gear and fish! There are bass, catfish and bream! If you want to love on a cow then Pepper the Holstein is your girl! Pepper knows her name and will come up to talk to you if you call her from the herd. The horses names are Vivian and Bonnie and they sometimes stay in the pasture with our campers, but they are at a different pasture for now! Vivian is the larger of the two white horses and she loves attention. Bonnie is also white, but she is a bit smaller. She is Viv's sister! There is also always the opportunity to see several species of wildlife while here. Part of our land is cleared for pasture and the rest is undisturbed forest. Two different creeks and hundreds of cedars adorn the land, hence the name "Cedar Creek Farms." Come enjoy the sounds of Ouachita Mountain nature and farm life with us!

There is a new bypass very close to the property. Pets are allowed, just please keep them close & clean up after them. We have a charcoal BBQ grill, & chairs on site. There is a trash can on site to use. We also have a private camping toilet with a personal tent. (Please request this item as we keep it put up when not in use.) This area is wooded and has all the outdoor bugs. Although we treat the camp area, bring your repellants for fleas, tics, chiggers, mosquitoes, ect. Just in case. There is currently someone staying in the gray tiny house, didn't want this to be a surprise. You can book this spot to pitch a tent or park a car.

We are 5 miles from Albert Pike to the north and 5 miles from Lake Greeson to the south! THIS PARK IS LOCATED IN LANGLEY, ARKANSAS! THE 911 ADDRESS IS UMPIRE ALTHOUGH WE ARE IN LANGLEY right at the crossroads of 369 and 84! This little park is located on the site of the Langley School, closed since 1968. All that is left is an old 1950 gymnasium which has been restored and is once again a viable part of the Langley community. Our site is self-contained only! Wifi is available onsite as well! This area has cell service but some carriers are better than others. This campground is where you go to truly get away! Learn more about this land: An old school site 5 miles south of Albert Pike Recreation Area and 5 miles north of Lake Greeson. Wooded area with hiking trails nearby. 30 minutes from Crater of Diamonds State Park.

Joanna was a wonderful host. She was polite, welcoming, and very accommodating with our reserved campsite and arrival time. She took the time to ask about us and our trip, and she provided all the information we needed after meeting us at the guest facility. We also had the pleasure of meeting her husband and son, they are a very lovely family and made us feel even more welcome. The location was quiet, peaceful, and exactly what we were looking for. Although there were two other campers nearby, the sites were spaced far enough apart that we still felt like we had plenty of privacy. The amenities provided were great, and we made use of them during our stay. We also saw fireflies, butterflies, and many other animals, which made the experience even more enjoyable. We truly enjoyed our stay and only wished it had been longer than one night. We would definitely stay here again.

Thunder Mountain is hands down the best place we have ever camped. Every detail of this property was impeccably thought out and it was truly a trip we will never forget. Though we experienced some rain during our stay, we were able to stay comfortable the entire time. We loved catching fish, swimming in the cool river, using the outdoor bathhouse, and grilling/watching the sunset with a glass of wine. It is clear that this property is well loved by the host. Todd was incredibly accommodating and his communication throughout the trip was top notch. We will definitely return to Thunder Mountain!

Weekend Trip to Ouachita Campground at Edendell

My group and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ouachita Campgrounds. We had a relatively private campsite, that included a table & chairs, swings to lounge in and a fire pit (with wood provided). Although the site was at a bit of a slant, we made it work. We arrived on July 4th and had the opportunity to get to know the property owners, engage with other campers, and watch the fireworks show that the hosts provided. The hosts were personable, attentive, and engaging. The whole property gives the feel of camping on a botanical garden, with well maintained campsites, phenomenal landscaping, gorgeous ponds to relax by. We took the opportunity to use the laundry room, as we are camping cross-country, as well as the showers. It was so lovely to have access to facilities. Hoping we get the opportunity to camp here again soon!

If you’re even thinking about booking this, you should! The host has everything you can think of, and you can tell they put a lot of thought into this place. Walking trials are nice, outdoor seating, outdoor bathroom, river, all perfect! There is quite a bit of stairs to get to the river, be ready for the trek. Even if you stay at the top and sit at the patio, it’s a beautiful view! The host was also very accommodating to dogs, which is a must in my world. Thank you again!!

The property was beautiful. Rv Site 12 is the site with the best view. It said it was a gravel pad but there was a thin layer of mud all over our camper spot but that could have been due to excess rain. Camper spot are close to the highway but the highway wasn’t too noisy. The host was responsive with texting and was helpful. The WiFi was unable to reach site 12 but we had enough signal for a hotspot. Overall a nice stay.
