This is a working cattle ranch, owned by our family for 4 generations. It’s located on clear creek and a historical route used to trail cattle to the nearby railroad to load on the trains. Learn more about this land: We are located near Leiter, Wy 82837 please search this and notice we are remotely located, not close to town. There are multiple spots to pick for pitching a tent. Decide if you’d like to camp on the banks of clear creek or on a top of a hill with a view. If you’re pulling a camper or driving an RV there are 2 easily accessible locations with access to power. Locations are near Clear Creek so you can enjoy playing in the water or take a hike through a pasture. There is a cafe and bar just 4 miles up the road. They also offer shower and laundry services. We are a real working cattle ranch and there is local wildlife to view. Please let us know if there is any way we can make your stay better, we are happy to help if you express any needs you may have. If something isn't listed, ask! Enjoy your stay in Sheridan area with lots of dining and recreation activities within 20 minutes of the RV site. This is a rural setting with sweeping views and solitude located up 2.3 miles of well maintained gravel road.. There is no pavement, you may get your rig dusty. The pad is gravel, this is not the KOA... The pad is 48 ft. Gravel and within grade yet may require you to level your camper with blocks or jack.. We do have native wildlife and no they are not all harmless or pets.... We look forward to sharing our home with you...

This property is off the old Bozeman trail and the history is rich. Each camp site is private and not close to anyone or anything. If you enjoy quiet...welcome.Stock ponds are full and the green is back!! New baby twin antelope show up daily. Bring the kids and dog and enjoy the space and clear skies.

Please be aware of that this is a property where we do experience bugs, horse poop and some horse/trailer traffic. We are trying hard to keep bugs out of tents and the horse poop in the pastures. The two tents are located on our property next to some large cottonwood trees and our house is not to far. If you have any special requests we are happy to assist. Please ask us about our ranch eggs. We are happy to share. We also own an outfitting business and take folks on guidedhorseback rides in the Bighorns for an extra charge.
