First thing’s first: Jana and Tim are the loveliest, most welcoming hosts. One of my favorite parts of this Hipcamp stay was sitting down with them and enjoying conversation over coffee in the morning before I left. They had great stories and helpful tips for exploring the area by bike, as well as a scenic detour (plus hot springs) as I headed toward my next destination. Beyond this, I had a wonderful experience from the moment I arrived. I caught a beautiful sunset while riding along on the surrounding country roads, followed by a hot shower, and slept soundly under thousands of stars with the distant hum of cows. Had access to a super clean porto right at Camp. I chose a spot behind several rows of trees that Tim and Jana planted almost thirty years ago—the whole area felt private, yet expansive. Can’t recommend this camp, and these hosts enough!!

Jana and Tim were welcoming. They offered several options of where we could park and pointed out the best direction to see sunrise and sunset. My parents enjoyed having coffee and chatting with them in the morning.

We Loved the dispersed camping experience with the Last Resort. A step back in time camping on a family farm.. BIG SKY.about 3 miles off the interstate 80. All we could hear was crickets.. sunrise and sunset was awesome and Jana and Tim were the warmest of hosts. Tim has a lot of vision for what the property could be and is currently renovating grain bins into cabins.. they have a community fire pit and ensured we had everything we needed. Un expectantly Tim had to help us energize our slide out as out battery went dead.. no problem!

Jana and Tim are THE best! If you're a solo female traveler this is a wonderful place to stop. Its safe, its clean and Tim and Jana treated me like family. Even welcomed me into their home for coffee and breakfast this morning! There is a rustic shower which was perfectly private, comfy and clean but might get a tad cool in the colder seasons, the portable potties were immaculate and Jana and Tim are close enough to reach out to with questions but also feel like youve got privacy. I'll swing by again if I come back on 80 on my way home!!

We can't say enough good things about the Last Resort. Tim and Jana are super friendly and offer assistance well above and beyond what was expected - extra shelter, morning coffee, the cleanest porta-potties we've ever seen, breakfast, a/c power -they even offered to loan tools if we needed any. The chickens made excellent neighbors, and the sunset and sunrise were incredible. We feel like we've made some new friends, and would absolutely come back if we're in the area again.
The fresh-off-the-bush raspberries were the perfect ending to a great stay.

What a great stay! Tim met me as soon as I pulled up and walked me to a great place to park my car. There was another group there at the fire so it was nice to sit and visit with them and Tim. I didn’t take them up on their offer of coffee since I wanted to get on the road. But 10/10 would recommend staying on these extremely kind couples land.

Jana and Tim were the best Hipcamp hosts we’ve met! They really went above and beyond making sure we had everything we needed, from offering us a shelter to stay in during stormy weather to having coffee ready for us when we left in the morning. They even brought us gas when one of our motorcycles ran out on our way back to the property. They were so kind and welcoming.
The property was great. It is only a few minutes off the interstate but is still quiet and secluded. There are lots of options of where to set up camp and they have planted tons of trees on the property which helps to provide some shade. There are a few different outhouses that are kept clean and there are also communal fire pits and a grill available for use.
We hope to stay again!

This was such a great place to stay at! People are very kind there the showers are clean with hot and warm showers option for cabin or RV stay. The Steakhouse wasnt open due to the effects of COVID but could one day come back with more traffic! The train tour of the ranch was so fun and loved feeding the bison! It is $25 per person not included with the stay but well worth while! More people need to cone stay here and meet the fun animals! We will be comming back soon with our children for family fun!!!

Terry Bison Ranch was a great overnight spot on our way up to the Grand Tetons. Super accommodating, they let us in with a late reservation and when we woke up the next morning with battery issues in our RV, they were really understanding of our challenges and let us stay a couple hours after check out while we waiting for a new battery to arrive. Beautiful scenery and a great place to be stuck in for a few extra hours!

We enjoyed our stay at The Last Resort so much! It was a lovely property, even though the weather was not agreeable; cold, rainy, and windy. But we were snug in our campervan, and our hosts met us as we drove in to help us get settled. We were also genuinely touched by their hospitality, which included coffee and breakfast in the morning. They get a 10/10 review from us!
