Crooked Creek was a perfect oasis away from the city. We really enjoyed the cozy vibes of the cabin, and the walking paths for us to enjoy. We were even provided orange beanies for hunting season, which we greatly appreciated as we went on our hikes! It was seriously one of the best experiences ever. The owners were so kind and went above and beyond to let our two boys interact with the animals. Camping was their birthday present and they said it was the best trip they ever had. The animals were so fun, and hiking is super close by. We definitely want to return.

I really enjoyed this campsite, it has truly breathtaking views of the lake and you can’t beat a beach fire! It was very peaceful, even with the other cabins being occupied. We ended up arriving later than planned so it was dark, and still the maps, signs, and trails were very easy to follow. The lodge with the showers and sauna is a HUGE bonus. The cabin and outhouse were very well maintained and very clean, my entire group commented their enthusiasm on that. Overall a great spot and I can’t wait to plan another trip back!

I love how secluded and alone we felt the whole time, having that big beach to ourselves was incredible. We loved staying in this camper! The bathroom and kitchen were both really nice and everything worked great. The main bed has a mattress topper and was very comfortable. Wow, this was my first HipCamp experience and I am pretty sure it has spoiled me for any future stays! The bar has been set pretty high, for sure. There were so many beautiful touches and attention to detail in both a practical and anesthetic sense. I watched turtles swimming in the pond, laughed at a precocious squirrel hurling pine cones at the steel roof of the cabin, and marvelled at a very large heard of deer as I walked the meadow and photographed a gorgeous field of wildflowers. My stay was far too short. I genuinely hope to come here again and spend more time. Thank you for sharing your little piece of heaven on earth. 🥰

Absolutely loved staying here! Not only is it a fun thing to be off grid but the property is very comfortable. The host was knowledgeable and very friendly. The bonus was the adorable dog my boyfriend loved playing with. We were given farm fresh eggs upon arrival but I am bummed we forgot them. Great place to relax for sure!! We will stay there again.

Niccole was always there to answer any questions. Her place was extremely what we were looking for. We visited her animals every morning and evening My girls absolutely 💯 ❤️ it.
