We were coming in late in the day and late in the season and Western was extremely quick with response time and helping us pick a site. We only stayed over night but the grounds were well kept and the bathrooms and showers were clean and well kept as well.

We pulled in with a little vintage trailer, young lady that was on duty that night took care of us put us in our spot brought us wood. She was quite Pleasant and efficient. The amenities were clean and well taken care of, we understand new management is just taking over and it is making changes and we like the Direction the park is going in. We will definitely stay here again if we are in this area again.

Cedar hills is a lovely hidden gem. It was so freeing to just be sunbathing naked in nature. There weren't too many people so there was enough room to space out. Felt very comfortable as 2 women campers. Dennis was great! Will definitely be frequenting next season.

Had an awesome time out there. Got to meet the owner, Dennis, which was great. The views are unreal, and there’s plenty of site options—whether you want to be up on the ridge looking out or down in the valley. Already looking forward to heading back next year.

This is our second time to cedar hills and again it was amazing. We were lucky enough to get site 20 with the swing and the beautiful view! The rains have for sure made it buggy but manageable! We had wonderful weather and we will be back again for sure it was quiet and everyone was polite and friendly

Western Woods is a lovely private campground with quite a few amenities. There’s a pool, horseshoe pits, volleyball net, basketball, etc. there are quite a few permanent campers there, but still plenty of spaces for regular campers. Just know that the pull through lots do not have any shade. Everybody was friendly and helpful. I can definitely see us visiting there again sometime. Not to mention that it is very convenient for visiting the Wisconsin Dells.

Really liked this campground. It was very easy to get to and close to a town if you need anything but you wouldn’t know it as it was so quiet. There are a variety of sites to choose from very private to more open sites. The shower building was fantastic, nicest one I’ve ever been in on a campground. The water pressure is outstanding! Dennis was quite lovely and came around offering ice if you needed it. Lots of available firewood as well. I’m a solo woman camper and felt perfectly safe here. Would definitely come back here again.

The sites are okay, and the staff were helpful. The bathrooms were wet and required a dehumidifier 24/7; the roads around the camp had some significant potholes. But we had two good nights at the campground.

Clothes Dryers. I camp a lot in Indiana state parks and never really realized how important clothes dryers were while tenting in the rain. (This feature isn’t prominent in Indiana state parks). This small important feature was nice.
The amenities were super clean with modern shower amenities. Everyone was very friendly and as a single woman, I felt safe. It is a gated community and the seasonal campers seemed to know who was who and helped me to feel safe and secure. My son and I will definitely be back for more. Thanks for a wonderful private secluded stay away from the masses.

Cedar hills campground was amazing to my fiance and I. We stayed in site nine and it was nice and private. We were able to live freely all weekend long.
We do recommend bringing foggers along for the bugs other than that everyone was friendly for the most part or stuck to themselves.
We were able to get up and go during the day and adventure out.
